Some slight tarnish to the bottom of the foot and some minor build-up in the recesses. Silver ring to the main body of the figure. Overall good. The base is without any perceived chips or damages. However, with some scratches in front of the bottom clouds. With some spots of tarnish on the front face of the cloud base. With remnants of polish to some of the deeper recesses. Additional images of the more pronounced losses to the silvering added.Base plinth with plastic button protectors.

Reychan', 44cm wide 24cm high, together with Stanislas Reychan, 'Playing with Dolls - An Autobiography of a Potter', London, 1993 (2) Stanislas Reychan was born in Vienna in 1897, the son of a Polish father and an Austrian mother. During the Second World War, he fled to Hungary, then Paris, before joining the Polish Army in the UK, deciding to stay here after being demobbed in 1949. With an interest in pottery, he went on to study at the Central School of Art under Dora Billington, before opening his own studio in 1950. One of his first exhibitions was at the Craft Potters' Association, and others soon followed, including at Heffers in Cambridge. He became widely respected and exhibited, and won a Silver Medal in 1960 at the Paris Salon. His work is beginning to be collected widely and one of his works, 'Prometheus', is in the Victoria and Albert Museum collection, C.205-1993. Condition ReportChip to the plinth.On closer inspection - one handle is missing from the vase. Some hair is chipped. The orb and shaft that he is holding does not appear to be restored but a small crack is evident.
