An Art Deco silver cup by Walker & Hall, Sheffield, 1937, taperng form on stepped circular pedestal foot, engraved with two bands of fruiting vines, the top with two lug handles, 17.6 cm. high, wt. 270 gm.Leans very slightly to one side and would need gentle straightening, one handle points very slightly down and also requires same, there is a slight impression in the inside where this handle has been slightly pushed in.

Marked in the piercing. Maker's mark and date letter are only legible on one along with lion passant and leopard's head, on the other the maker's mark not visible but the other 3 marks are legible.

A George IV Scottish Provincial silver goblet by Peter Ross, Aberdeen, circa 1820 ("A", PR, "A"), on trumpet foot, engraved with frieze of fruiting vines above coat of arms, probably for Mortimer to one side and initials "WM" to other side, 14.9 cm. high, wt. 319 gm.In good condition, very slight wear to coat of arms, the marks are on the base, on a separate disc that covers the hollow foot.

A Victorian Scottish silver three-piece teaset by Walker Crichton, Edinburgh, 1844, octagonal on conforming bases, engraved with scrolling foliage and flowers between flutes and incorporating vacant cartouches, gilt interiors to milk jug and sugar bowl, teapot with ivory insulators, 23 cm. high, wt. 1709 gm.Good condition, no bruises, cartouches are solid and appear never to have been engraved, no crests or initials.

A George III silver sauceboat with reverse-punched bead border probably by Thomas Wallis (I), London, 1777, on three scroll supports terminating in trefoil feet, leaf-capped scroll handle, 12.2 cm. long.Two of the feet have been repaired where they join body, repair where upper junction of handle joins body and a repair in the bead-punched rim.

A George II silver salver by Ebenezer Coker & Thomas Hannam, London, 1759, with shell and scroll border, on three hoof feet, centre chased with foliate "C" scrolls and flowers probably at a later date, 17 cm. diameter, wt. 183 gm.Some repaired splits to border and slight distortion.

A set of twelve French silver and mother-of-pearl handled fruit knives with silver blades and foliate-chased mounts, post 1838, one of these with a modern English replacement silver blade, together with twelve fruit forks en suite all with Victorian silver tines by Francis Higgins, London, 1895, all the handles inlaid with silver shield engraved with crest of a demi-greyhound rampant with flag, in fitted red leather box lined in cream silk and dark blue velvet. (24)One fork handle has been repaired, the handle cracked and repaired with glue, side of upper tier of case is coming away and needs re-gluing. Minor scuffs to red leather case, no key to box.

Marked "Sterling silver on Porcelain Foreign"on the underside, "Hutschenreuther Abt. Paul Muller Selb" on a few. Star crack to base of teapot, some wear to silvering on milk jug and some coffee cups, one coffee cup cracked but no other chips or cracks noted.(32)
