(Two cases).
Rare set of six Charles II silver trefid spoons , Lawrence Cole, London 1679 , the lace back bowls each with a ribbed rat-tail and strap handle with four assay marks and a lace scroll hilt initialled on the reverse P over LE, one inscribed 1704, length 19.6 - 19.9cm, 10oz 15dwt in total.*The composition of the silver of these spoons is uniform and consistent with late 17th century London silver; they have however been silver plated at some point in the past.
