A set of five George II Scottish silver three pronged table forks "Old English" pattern, bearing "Hope", globe and crown motif, inscribed "At Spec Infracta" (by Kerr & Dempster with Hugh Gordon Assay Masters mark, Edinburgh 1751), together with one associated white metal three prong table fork, 12.45 oz (including weight of white metal table fork) (6) CONDITION REPORTS PLEASE NOTE REVISED CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION - this Lot comprises a set of five table forks plus one white metal associated table fork (not hallmarked). Overall with wear, scuffs and scratches, various scuffs and mis-shaping to the prongs. One fork is white metal and is a lighter weight than the others, and appears to have been re-made/re-configured and the moulding of the prongs is different, also the hallmarks to this fork may have been removed or these may now simply be rectangular indentations to simulate the patterning of hallmarks, inscription and crown to the reverse of this particular fork is also much crisper than the others.

A 19th Century Continental silver and shagreen étui, the hinged cover opening to reveal nine items relating to drawing or writing and including a pair of scissors, 9.5 cm CONDITION REPORTS Height approx. 9.5 cm, width approx. 4.5 cm. Overall with wear and scuffs, dents to the base and lid, shagreen to the lid has come unglued and appears to have shrunk, it is also a slightly darker and slightly larger pattern than that on the body, shagreen to the body with various losses around edges, wear, etc., contents with various knocks, dents, etc. and some with losses and damage and they do not appear to be of a uniform design/decoration so some are likely to be associated, there do not appear to be any makers marks or other marks, three of the apertures to the interior are empty.
A 19th Century Continental silver and mother of pearl étui, the body decorated with columns engraved with stylised foliage, mother of pearl engraved with crowned figures and scrolls, the hinged cover opening to reveal four items relating to writing and drawing including a small mother of pearl decorated penknife, 9 cm CONDITION REPORTS Height approx. 9 cm, width approx. 3 cm. The base of the case in indistinctly inscribed (scratched/etched into surface) in script "J Browning"? (or "J Bunning"?) and "1807". Function/purpose of roundel to the base not known. One of the apertures to interior is empty, contents may be associated. Contents with some scuffs, chips and denting, exterior of case with some knocks and scuffs to edges, a few small chips and splits to the mother of pearl inlay and one mother of pearl panel to the lid is broken and re-glued and with some losses, overall condition however appears reasonably tidy. The etui case is Continental silver and mother of pearl (not gilt wash).
A .925 silver standard blue enamel and engine turned cylindrical box, the hinged cover with floral decoration and gilt-washed interior, the base stamped "GV & Co. .925", approx 7 cm diameter CONDITION REPORTS Overall with wear and dirt, some tiny frits around edges of enamel, some slight wear, tarnish and a few small scuffs, but overall condition appears reasonably good, hallmarks appear quite clear, lid closes well

A George III Scottish silver cased musical box of plain rectangular form with reeded edging and gilt washed interior enclosing the movement (by Redpath & Arnot, Edinburgh 1819), 8.5 cm x 5.4 cm CONDITION REPORTS Overall with wear, scuffs and tarnish, some scratches and knocks, some screw fitments missing, interior with some rusting and tarnish, one of the teeth of the comb broken and missing, no key, it is not known whether music box is complete or in working order, please see photos for visual condition of interior, there is a later piece of acetate (removeable) to the interior which is cracked and chipped, hallmarks appear quite clear, lid appears a reasonably snug fit, there is a cement type deposit below the hinge to the interior (see photos)

An Elizabeth II silvered Coronation stool with blue velvet seat CONDITION REPORTS Overall with general wear and scuffs, some knocks to edges, upholstery generally appears to be in reasonably good condition as it appears to have been covered with a calico loose cover, legs have a silvered finish and there are quite a few blobs of silver paint visible to the underside of the frame, frame generally with some stains, webbing and upholstery generally appears in reasonably good order.
