A Late 19th/ Early 20th Century Russian Silver Gilt and Blue Enamel Rectangular Cigarette Case, by August Willhelm Holmstrom, St Petersburg, 1829-1903, stamped 56 standard, the whole of royal blue guilloche enamel, the lid with entwined initials set with diamonds and sapphire and with diamond set push button, 3.875ins x 2.5ins x 6.25ins high, gross weight 3.9ozs Condition - Three small shallow chips to the enamel -two above the hinge at the back, the third below the hinge. They measure from 5mm x 1mm to 6mm x 1mm. There is also a flat chip to the front edge of the right side of the lid measuring approximately 8mm x 1.5mm. The catch and hinge both work well. The gilding to exterior is very lightly rubbed. Internally the gilding is intact.

A Victorian Silver Circular Three Piece Tea Service, by William Hunter, London 1845, of compressed form, with flared rims, acanthus leaf capped handles and scrolling band to the bodies, on cast and applied scrolling bases, comprising - teapot with domed cover and cast finial, 7ins high, sugar basin and milk jug, gross weight 50ozsCondition - Teapot - hinge works well with just some very slight play. The lid sits well. The pin securing the lower ivory ring to lower terminal has sheared through. There is a split to the lower handle terminal where it attaches to the body. This has been partially soldered. Two miniscule dents to the lower part of the body.Milk jug - the lower terminal where attached to body has been re-soldered but the gap between lower terminal and body clearly shows. Small circa 4mm split to side of pouring lip through the cast detail. Some scattered scratching to the upper part of the body. Sugar bowl - this appears to be in good condition with no obvious damage/loss/restoration. Generally there is some very light scattered wear to raised detail to all pieces, and some scattered scratching to all pieces.

There is some light scattered scratching to the top, and some more extensive scattered scratching and wear to the base. The catch hinge work well. There is some damage and the interior shows original gilding. The gilt detail to the exterior is slightly worn.

The lid fit is good. The flange to the base which supports the lid shows a very slight inward end at one point along the circumference. The gilt detail to the interior is intact, but the gilt base shows some light all over scratching.
