Miss May Louise Greville Cooksey (1878 - 1943), Continental street scene with figures carrying baskets, signed and dated 1911 watercolour heightened with touches of bodycolour, 35 x 25cm.; 13.75 x 9.75in. * Studied at Leamington and Liverpool Schools of Art, and won silver and bronze medals at South Kensington. Received a travelling scholarship which enabled her to visit Italy. Exhibited at the Royal Academy and extensively at the Walker Gallery. Was a member of the Liverpool Academy of Arts.
George II silver coffee pot, London 1737 maker: probably Richard Bayley, the tapering body with a moulded scroll swan neck spout and engraved with an armorial device, the flattened dome cover with a turned knop, on short spreading foot, the base engraved W D 1737. Height 19cm. This lot is accompanied by a letter from The London Assay Office, dated 22nd September 2004

Coulthwaite, 1861-1948)
