Hunter & Co., with 33.5cm etched double fullered blade and faceted back edge, the blade etched with thistles and a crowned 'G', the hilt carved with basket weave in the form of a thistle and with brass studs, contained within a brass scabbard engraved overall with geometric and floral designs and complete with companion knife and silver fork with George III duty mark, makers mark JW, the scabbard with 'G. Hunter & Co., 25 Princes Street, Edinburgh'
