Lot 1244

A George II hallmarked silver toddy ladle with plain oval bowl and turned ebonised wooden handle, possibly Robert Lucas, London 1728, length 34.5cm, and a further example with overall floral and foliate embossed bowl centred with a vacant cartouche, with tapering stem and plain baleen handle, London 1773, maker's mark rubbed, length 35.5cm (2). CONDITION REPORT: Baleen handled ladle is slightly misshapen but generally in good condition. The handle needs reattaching to the silver stem section. The plain ladle is in good condition with some minor scratches and tiny dents commensurate with age.

CONDITION REPORT: Overall OK. Some damage to pins.
