Silver and blue guilloche enamel vanity set, including hand mirror, two paddle brushes (one missing the brush) marked London 1904, mm C&R C (Charles & Richard Comyns), plus two silver and blue enamel brushes (one missing brush) marked Birmingham 1930 mm T&S (Turner & Simpson), together with a silver and blue enamel topped scent bottle, a silver and blue enamel topped glass atomiser, and blue enamel Asprey 8 Day Swiss made clock. Late 19th century German silver treble-folding biscuit box, finely decorated with floral rocaille work on a scallop motif. The frame supported on scroll feet with cherubs balanced at each corner and the top surmounted with a winged cherub. The box has elegant drop ring handles which open to reveal a gilded interior with three scalloped sections with pierced decoration, each section held in place with a spring hook fastener. The box stamped 800 with crescent and crown hallmark, 23 cms h x 20 w (26 x 26 cms when opened), approx 1300 gms.

An early 19th century travelling eighteen seat silver plated canteen, Venetian pattern, housed in the original oak case with six drawers, comprising of two large carving forks, two large carving knives, eighteen table knives, seventeen small knives, eighteen table forks, eighteen tablespoons, eighteen dessert forks, eighteen dessert spoons, eighteen toddy spoons, eighteen fish forks, eighteen fish knives, six salt spoons, two fish carving knives, fish carving fork, nutcracker, two gravy spoons, two soup ladles, two grape scissors, eighteen fruit forks and eighteen fruit knives. Cutlery is in very good condition, box has wear consistent with age. Plaque to top reads W. Swan, Stradbroke Park. Note: This set belonged to a W.Swan of Stradbroke NSW, he was responsible along with others for opening up the interior of this vast region, the house which included over 600 acres was eventually demolished in 1966.
