Mid 18th century gentleman's waistcoat, embroidered with sprays of flowers and leaves on cotton ground, the colours are pale but not necessarily faded, with silver-coloured buttons, probably original, one button missing, side pockets, some slight marks on the right hand side just above the pocket, backed with linen and with the ties on the back Condition ReportOverall the waistcoat is in very good condition. There is a tiny hole on the front which is only visible on very close inspection (this is shown in the photos). There are no apparent signs of repair or fading. The only damage is the tiny hole already mentioned and a couple of very small marks on the outside and inside of the waistcoat (all pictured). I have uploaded 5 photos to the catalogue showing the hole and the marks. It looks as if there is one button missing.
