Watts & Co on the occasion of his marriage, September 12th 1877", overall raised on a mirrored silver plate framed tripartite base, height 63cm. Provenance: purchased lot 55, March 1958 from the Abney Hall Contents Auction, Cheadle. CONDITION REPORT: Lacking the glass bowls, one slight area of loss to the mercury on the mirrored platter of approx 1 x 1cm, otherwise overall in good order.

Doesn't appear to have been anything erased - the surface is smooth and no other picture is coming through. Thick and heavy with no repairs. Wear commensurate with age.

CONDITION REPORT: Several scratches to the top of the tray and some areas of minor pitting and traces of use, also some slightly deeper scratches to the base and some further areas of pitting.
