Some small chips in the odd area, notably the bottom corner of the front and small minor losses to the malachite inlay at the front. Square box with malachite inlay to the border edge: Also with hallmark to the hinge, some scuffs and nibbled edges to the extremities and exposed edges. Box with chequer inlay with hallmark to the side: With nibbled and scuffs to the edges and corners, including a small chipped area to the back edge corner of the top. The mother of pearl inlaid dragon fly box with small crack to the back edge below the hinge. AN ARTS & CRAFTS ENAMEL PLAQUE MOUNTED COPPER INKWELL (5)Early 20th Century The square inkwell with white-metal capped corners, the cover and base inset with enamel plaques, 13cm wide; Together with an enamel and hammered pewter square table box, early 20th Century, possibly, for Liberty & Co., depicting a sailing boat at sea, oak lined interior, stamped ‘0888’ with initials ‘J.D’, 17.5cm wide; an enamel plaque depicting the side profile of a maiden, 20cm diameter overall; and two further enamelled itemsProvenance: The Purple Shop – The Anthony Gardner Collection.See Bellmans website article for further information: https://www.bellmans.co.uk/story/the-purple-shop-the-anthony-gardner-collectionCondition report: The copper inkwell: silver capped corner mounted and border to the base of the square boxed inkwell. One with an unidentified mark. Tarnished and dirty overall. The larger pewter box with oak lined interior. A dent to the hinged planished top, which could be repaired/restored, together with other scratches. Some line  scratches / straight line fissures to the upper left corner of the enamel, see extra images. There is one chipped area or small loss to the enamel on the left side area, near the hull of the  boat, to the waves. There is also a black speck to the right side of the sail, in the sky. The box is stamped with the serial number 0888 and scratched with the initials JD. The box could be Tudric for Liberty & Co. The oak lining the box is damaged at the top edge to right side. Tarnishing and other scratches and scuffs commensurate with use age. The roundel: it has not been possible to removed this from the stained black frame. The enamel itself is in relatively good condition. Some scuffs and marks to the frame edges. The square plaque with portrait with glue to the reverse and obviously a mount from a larger object. Pewter and enamel mounted of a girl side profile is tarnished, dirty and slightly scuffed. Generally inevitable scuffs, scratches, dents, small chips and marks commensurate with wear, use and age.

See Bellmans website article for further information: https://www.bellmans.co.uk/story/the-purple-shop-the-anthony-gardner-collectionCondition report: There are several areas of discolouration including to the right side around the arm area at the front, with a loose element of bead work; on the left side at the back; and in areas to the lower area of the skirt which are difficult to illustrate. It would appear to be bead staining / discolouration rather than loss and replacement. There are a few loose threads including one to the hem and the other to central areas of the dress.  General wear and small losses, scuffs to the beads, general wear to the materials, as to be expected with use and age. The maximum measurement at the bust is 43.5cm across. This is the same down to the hips (where the 'V' shaped grey beaded pattern meets the edges).  See additional images and please request more, if needed.

The velvet is a bit rubbed at the back with some silver cleaning deposit to the sides, but is likely to be original, hinge strut is a little wobbly
