VICTORIAN SIDEBOARD. Attributed to Wylie & Lockhead, Glasgow, Scotland. Refinished mahogany veneer with fine figure including flame grain on the drawer fronts. Oak secondary. Accented with beaded molding and dark string inlay. Five drawers over four doors. One drawer is fitted for silver and one lower compartment has a cellarette. 84 3/4w. 24 1/2d. 48 1/2h.
SILVER CHEST ON FRAME. Two-piece mahogany and walnut with mixed secondary woods. The chest has two doors and four fitted and lined drawers. A plaque is monogrammed and dated CE 1846-1871. The base has a dovetailed drawer with brass handles and molded legs with interior chamfered corners. Some sun fading. 23 1/2w. 19d. 40h.
TWO OPEN FACE POCKET WATCHES. Helbros with embossed train on back cover. Enamel dial has image of a train. Dial also has Arabic numerals with chapter rim including military time, subdial second hand. 17 jewels, silver tone case. SN 150792. Elgin with engraved train engine on back cover. Enamel dial has black Arabic numerals, red seconds, subdial second hand. 7 jewels. Silverode case. Engraving is worn. SN 15410487, 1910. Crystal is cracked.
INLAID TEA CADDY. Mahogany and figured wood veneer with string inlay inside and out. Horn diamond shaped keyhole escutcheon. Two interior compartments with lift lids and foil lining. The center has a cut glass mixing bowl and an English silver spoon with engraved shield and London hallmarks for 1810 (repair). Minor pieced repair. 12w. 6 1/4d. 6h.
FOUR COIN SILVER SALTS. Pair of round with three pad feet and chased flowers and acanthus leaves. R. & W. Wilson, Philada. (ca.1825). 3d. 2h. and two similar oval with vermeil bowls and lightly engraved foliage and A. Marked B.B. & Co., one also has New York (Ball, Black & Co., ca.1850). 3 1/2l. 1 1/2h.
MINIATURE ON IVORY. Double sided locket with a portrait of a woman with wispy blonde hair wearing a light blue hooded cloak. Initialed H.F.F. and lined with silver foil. The other side has a carved tortoise shell frame surrounding a central ivory medallion that has a woman reading before a classical plinth, all in white and blue. Gold filled frame has minor wear, the tortoise shell has cracks. 2 7/8h.
