The set creates an Art Deco style Strasbourg station in yellow with glass brick infills. Sold with vendor's images of constructed station. VGC, minor wear only. Together with a Hornby HO Signal Cabin, 692 in kit form. An 18th century Turkish 20 bore flintlock holster pistol, 19½” overall, 2 stage barrel 12” with spurious inscription and proof marks at the breech and on the white metal covered tang, the flat bevelled lock bearing spurious maker’s name, the fullstock carved overall, the butt inlaid with silver wire scrolls, the fore end with dummy ramrod, brass mounts including long spurred butt cap overlaid with silver panels and scrolls and with domed white metal finial, and with elaborately chiselled sideplate and white metal escutcheon. GWO & C (some age wear, stock damaged below the lock). Plate 7
A 6 shot 100 bore single action percussion pepperbox revolver, c 1835, 7¾” overall, barrels 2½” with B’ham proofs, the nickel silver rounded frame, butt strap and domed butt cap engraved with scrolls, with long spur hammer and finely chequered walnut grips. Basically GC (barrels and trigger guard have been pitted and cleaned, 2 nipples missing, the other nipples battered). Plate 8
A 6 shot 54 bore Baker’s Patent single action open frame transitional percussion revolver, 11¼” overall, sighted octagonal barrel 5½”, B’ham proved, the rounded frame, butt strap and domed buttcap of nickel silver, sparseley engraved with scrolls and vacant panel for retailer’s name, stamped beneath the hammer “Registered April 24. 1852”, the backstrap stamped “No 2523” in engraved panel, the hammer partly cut away for sighting and stamped “Baker’s Patent”, with plain dark stained wood grips. WO & GC (the action requires slight attention, nipples replaced, dark russet finish to barrel and cylinder with patches of rust to the cylinder.) Plate 8
