Guild of Handicrafts: A Pair of English Arts and Crafts Silver Honey Spoons each with a hand planished, fig shaped bowl with a rat tail and a long, slender, tapering, hexagonal stem terminating with a lobed finial, probably taken from a design by C R Ashbee or George Hart at Chipping Campden; the spoons are fully hallmarked, at the bottom of the stem, (G of H) London 1956 and 1957; each 6 inches (15cms) long, total weight 2.5oz (app.70.9g). George Hart ran the Guild of Handicrafts from 1912 and was joined by his son, Henry, in 1930; his grandson, David, runs the shop today.
