REEL: Extremely rare 3", 3 spoke wood backed Coxon Aerial reel, no tension regulator, ebonite drum face stamped "Patent", twin polished horn handles, only 8 German silver spindles to drum core and 7/8" between plates, mahogany backplate, brass star back stamped "Patent", with correct foot, brass on/off check button to early blue steel calliper check, spins well, no visible cracks or damage, dates c1910, rarely seen.
LURE: Scarce unnamed Allcock Flexible Bait No.82, c1870, silver thread wrapped minnow bait, 2.1" body with metal tail, minnow spot colouring, original twin treble hook to twisted gut trace and early ball swivel, painted eye, fine example, (see p589-9 in reference Turner, G - "The Ultimate Collectors Guide").
