British Commonwealth extensive collection in 73 albums, an excellent original lot in S.G. Simplex albums, QV to QEII, Aden - Zululand, presented parallel mint/MNH and used. Very useful earlier issues with some mixed condition as to be expected, however the main strength is KGVI in generally immaculate quality throughout. Later substantial new issue value to 2008 including miniature sheets. Many good sets incl. 1935 Jubilees often both mint and used, 1948 Silver Wedding looking complete both mint never hinged and used including key Hong Kong, N. Rhodesia, Singapore, etc, same with 1949 UPU, also long definitive sets with many varieties. We note strong Ascension, Australia & States, Bahamas with 45 Britannias, Barbados, Canada, Cape triangles incl. 6d bright mauve mint, Ceylon, Cyprus incl. 1955 & 1960-61 sets MNH, Falklands 1938 to £1 MNH, Dependencies 1954 set MNH, Gibraltar, India incl. 4a red and blue varieties cut-to-shape, Gandhi mint set, etc, Malayas, Mauritius, Papua incl. over 60 different 'lakatois', etc. Frequent nice varieties for example N. Borneo SG.346c MNH. A delightful collection, offered intact as received.
British Commonwealth, Carton of 1000s of mint and used stamps, mostly in collections on album pages as bought in auctions over the years, mainly Americas with Caribbean, Canada and Falkland Islands, as well as Bahrain, Brunei and other British Asia in the mix. We note Bahamas KGVI 1938 complete mint to £1 and QEII first set mint, Barbados collection on album pages starting with dozens of Britannias to 1/-, British Guiana with dozens of early ships, St. Lucia 1967 airmail imperf MNH (SG.240 var. unlisted), Federated Malay States 1c die I block of 15 MNH (SG.28, cat. £450 for hinged singles), etc. Also three boxes of counter cards with useful Caribbean material incl. 1935 Silver Jubilee mint sets, classic St. Kitts, etc.
1841- 2017 In Seven S.G. Hingeless Albums with slipcases, sparse earlier period, we note 1951 high values set unmounted, then QE2 solid unmounted mint issues, incl. Wilding Tudor and Edward sets, all Commemorative phosphor sets, decimal Commemoratives and Definitive issues incl. Regionals etc. Also five printed albums of World Wildlife Fund, and albums of 1972 Silver Wedding & 1977 Silver Jubilee Omnibus issues. High face value.
Great Britain collection, plus worldwide schoolboy albums with China, a wine box and two shoeboxes, with three albums of GB starting with line-engraved, odd earlier MNH incl. 1924 exhibition set and £1 silver wedding, then entirely mint/MNH run from late '60s to 2009, and to 2011 on loose cards, including booklets, sheetlets etc. Face value will easily exceed £1,700.
Four Cartons with Great Britain collection of stamps and FDCs, plus worldwide stamps, literature, etc, in need of organization. The GB from line-engraved onwards, with good range of mint from 1948 £1 silver wedding MNH through to significant face value on the later new issues incl. many 1st class booklets/sheetlets. Two cartons with a useful mix of literature, accessories and interesting large bags of glassines and loose, better than first appears, with early C20th Japan quantity seen, sorting this will be rewarding.
