A George III oak cased longcase clock, the arched brass dial set with silver chapter ring beneath a circular plaque inscribed 'Tho & Ann Elliot, Brimhope' above arched long door and plinth base, height 203cm, with two weights and a pendulum.Additional InformationSpandrels replaced and heavy wear to the surface of the dial and that and the movement are associated to the case, missing the brass furniture and also a column upright to the canopy, a chip to the moulding on the canopy, the timber itself is very dry throughout and of poor colour. The movement is 8 day and sold with two weights and a pendulum.
