A William IV silver melon-fluted teapot by John James Keith, London, 1832, sides chased with flowers and scrolls, leaf-capped handle with ivory insulators, cover with bud finial, inscribed to lower body "E. A. Kelsall from her affec.te Brother Thos. Stephens, 1831". Wt. 744 gm.Pin on upper junction of handle protrudes a bit, a tiny ding to one flute otherwise sound.

A rare George IV Provincial die-stamped silver wine label by James Barber & Co., York, circa 1823/24, (king's head, lion passant and maker's mark) with bacchanal, lion, bowl with bead rim and goblet all amidst fruiting vines centred by "S" shaped scroll incised "MADEIRA", 6 cm. long, wt. 22 gm.In lovely condition.
A late Victorian three piece silver bachelor's teaset by Henry Matthews, Birmingham and Chester, all 1897, shaped oval with pannelled sides and shaped rim, on four pad feet, leaf-capped scroll handles, teapot with ivory insulators, teapot 21.5 cm. long, wt. 589 gm.One foot of teapot needs straightening.
An attractive Chinese white metal (tests low grade silver, approx. .800 standard) lady's filigree evening bag, apparently unmarked, circa 1920/30, applied on either side with a stylised chrysanthemum with Chinese characters for Longevity and Good Fortune, the mount chased with dragons and with pendant filigree heart motifs, 16.5 cm. wide, gross wt. 318 gm. In good condition. A couple of small oval links are missing from the top of the bag but could be easily replaced.
Judaica:- an elaborate silver mezuzah bearing a spurious Russian kokoshnik, shaped rectangular with applied miniature Torah crown to top, decorated with scrolls and leaves around a lion mask boss, detachable top with shell terminal, 15.8 cm. long, wt. 146 gm.Overall good condition.
An early Victorian Provincial silver child's mug by John Walton, Newcastle, 1839, campana form with ribbed flutes to side, acanthus cleaf-capped handle, moulded rim and gilt interior, initialled to front, 10 cm. high, wt. 141 gm.Good condition except for a tiny solder blemish to top of handle just below leaf cap.
An American silver spirits flask by Tiffany & Co., New York, Charles T. Cook era, 1902/07, oval, chased with flowers and scrolls, one side initialled "ERH", the cap with small cartouche with five "C" scrolls forming a stylised star motif, 15 cm. long, wt. 141 gm.In nice condition, no bruises, clearly marked on base.
An Edwardian silver trinket box by Robert Pringle & Sons, Birmingham, 1902, shaped elongated oval form on four scroll feet, sides and cover chased with scrolls and diaperwork incorporating cartouches, the one on cover initialled "W", richly gilt interior, 11 cm. long, wt. 108 gm.In good crisp condition, snaps tightly shut, no bruises, makerr's mark is partly rubbed.
A Russian parcel-gilt silver and niello snuff box, maker's mark D.A.P. (Cyrillic), Moscow, 1844, cover depicting a young man and his dog sleeping amidst foliage, sides and base with architectural views, double scroll thumbpiece, gilt interior, 7 cm. long, wt. 88 gm.Slight wear to niello on cover, exterior gilding is of a pale tone.
A late Victorian diamond bar brooch, circa 1900, composed of a central cluster with stylised leaves to each side, set overall with old brilliant cuts, total diamond weight approx. 0.90 carat, mounted in gold backed silver, 3.5cm long, 5gms CONDITION: diamonds very bright and lively, approx. SI1, and of good colour (approx. G-H), no losses or evident damage

A late Victorian novelty silver spirit lighter by Deakin & Francis, Birmingham, 1892, in the form of a squat man with pointed hat, the butt of a cigarette in his mouth, his hair tied in a pig-tail, his jacket open over a shirt, his hands thrust in his pockets, his cap forming the hinged cover with gilt interior to latter, removable unmarked wick and two matches, 12 cm. high, 87 gm.Overall good condition.
A curved rectangular silver card case with engine-turned reeded vertical bands, initialled reserve "D, MAY '25", Chester, 1921; a silver match case holder with gilt interior, Birmingham, 1923, inscribed to cover "D, 30.5.25"; and an engine-turned silver-handled pen knife with five blades/fittings including scissors, by Asprey & Co. Ltd., London, 1978.; also four modern Scottish pierced square napkin rings "The Rennie Mackintosh collection", each in its original box, Edinburgh, 1989; also a similar brooch, Edinburgh, 1992, Weighable silver 167 gm. (8).Couple of pinprick dings to match case, knife in excellent condition. Scottish items as new.

An Italian white metal (tests silver) two-tier sweet dish, inscribed "Lavorato a Mano" (hand-made), with elaborately pierced scrollwork sides and conforming tapering column, on three pierced feet, base applied with a ship's wheel, 29.5 cm. high, wt. 429 gm.Overall good condition, the occasional small repair to piercing and one foot needs straightening as at present it leans very slightly to one side.
A French Provincial silver wine taster, mark of BG with devices above and below, 1st. standard, 1819/38, ribbed ring handle, sides fluted on one half, the other with beads, circular lobes and fruiting vines, rim inscribed "ALEXANDRE DUCHAMPS", domed to centre, 7.1 cm. diameter, wt. 46 gm.In good condition, clearly marked on handle.
A good Russian silver-gilt and polychrome cloisonne enamel vesta case by Pavel Ovchinnikov, "88" standard, Moscow, 1880, rectangular but of oval section, decorated with floral medallions between bands of intersecting scrolls on pale blue ground, enamelled hinged cover to one end with aperture for pull-through cord, other end forms the striking plate, 5.6 cm. long. Good condition, enamel is undamaged. Fully marked inside base, part marked inside cover.
