Rare Queens Own Oxfordshire Hussars Officers Hallmarked Silver Pouch and Cross Belt, the pouch has clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1907. Centre is fitted with gilt regimental cipher badge. Pouch is fitted on its original cross belt strap with flat wire bullion decoration. The fittings on the belt have London hallmarks. The prickers and chains all have clear hallmarks for London 1901. Belt is backed with black leather. Set remains in very good condition.
British County Lieutenants Dress Belt, of fine quality silver wire braid decoration on maroon leather belt. Complete with the original two piece white metal rectangular belt plate, Yorkshire rose within wreath. Complete with the original sword frog attachment. Good overall condition.
1st Kings Dragoon Guards Officers Pouch and Cross Belt Set consisting of officers silver (not hallmarked) fronted pouch with engraved decoration. To the centre of the pouch is a crude brass regimental badge for the 1st Kings Dragoon Guards. Cross belt of leather with flat wire gilt decoration front. Accompanied by other dress fittings and sword knot etc. All remain in good overall condition. Due to the construction this item was probably made in India or the far east.
Polish Internees in Switzerland Medal, silver medal awarded for Polish troops who were interned in Switzerland. Obverse of the medal has profile of Bronislaw Prugar-Ketling and NOEL DES INTERNES EN SUISSE 1942. Reverse of the medal has Polish eagle to the centre and BOZE NARODZENIE W SZWAJCARDII DSP. Medal has a pale blue ribbon and remains in good condition.** The Polish Army in France served with distinction during the fall of France campaign. A large section of Polish troops were surrounded by German forces but managed to break through to neutral Switzerland where the men were interned for the duration of the War. Many men however escaped and managed to join up with the Free Polish forces in France and later United Kingdom.
Polish Miniature Medal Grouping consisting of cross of merit RP silver and enamel, bronze RP cross of merit with swords, army medal, Monte Cassino medal, 1939-45 star, Italy star, Defence medal, 1939-45 war medal, French volunteer combatants cross and French WW2 commemorative medal with France bar. Medals are mounted for wear. Accompanied by a enamel commemorative bracelet, having linked enamel shields with Polish divisional signs. Both items remain in good condition. (2 items)
French 1830’s-1840’s Belltop Shako, complete with its original copper shako plate of a cockerel standing on a cannon with flags behind, below a flaming grenade. Behind the plate is a coloured rosette. Complete with its white metal scaled chinstraps with large flaming grenade side bosses. Thick band of silver braid to the top of the shako. Original leather liner to the interior. Generally good condition.

Victorian Volunteer Artillery Officers Full Dress Uniform of fine quality blue melton cloth with ornate heavy bullion twist cord decoration to the cuffs. Red cloth collar with silver braid decoration (missing collar badges), Knotted twist cord shoulder boards with single bullion rank pip. Pewter Victorian officers tunic buttons. Good condition quilted lining to the interior. Trousers are standard form with large central red stipe to the centre of the leg. Accompanied by universal pattern Volunteer officers belt and sword hangers. Officers dress cross belt with silver braid decoration on leather and with small leather pouch having silvered post 1902 Royal Artillery badge to the centre. Set remains in good overall condition for age.
Regimentally Important Pocket Watch Belonging to Colonel P H Eyre 38th (1st Staffordshire) Regiment of Foot, Killed in Action at Kirbekan February 10th 1885, stemwind pinset hunter cased pocket watch. Silver engine turned case with hallmarks for London 1883 and makers mark for Walter Augustus Hall. Movement is signed by the retailer Rowlands & Frazer. Inside lid of the watch is engraved, P H Eyre Col 38TH REGT had on this Watch when killed in action at KIRBEKAN Feb 10th 1885. The watches movement is not running and is in need of restoration, item is being sold as a collectors item not a working instrument. **Lieutenant Colonel Philip Holman Eyre was born in 1832. He enlisted as a private in the 38th Regiment of foot in 1850. He took part in the Crimean war, serving with the regiment during the siege and fall of Sebastopol. He later served in the Indian Mutiny. He gained promotion to Ensign on the 10th August 1854, slowly raising through the officer ranks and finally becoming Lieutenant-Colonel commanding the 38th Regiment of foot in November 1882. He served in the Egypt campaign of 1882 and was mentioned in despatches during the campaign. He served during the Sudan Campaign and he was killed in action at the battle of Kirbekan. **The Battle of Kirbekan was fought between the British Nile Column and the Mahdist forces. Under the command of General Earle. The British forces stormed the heights of Kirbekan, which was held by a very strong force of Mahdist warriors. The British forces totally routed the enemy, but with very heavy loss. General Earle was also killed during the action. A brass plaque is in Lichfield cathedral commemorating the death of Lieutenant Colonel Eyre.
German Cavalry Officers Summer Tunic being lightweight white four pocket tunic with golden yellow underlay shoulder boards. Silver aluminium pebbled buttons to the front, pockets and shoulder straps. Loops for pin back breast eagle to one side and loops for medal ribbon bar the other. Good overall condition.
Luftwaffe 1st Pattern Dress Dagger being a early nickel silver example with blue leather covered handle and scabbard. Some plating lifting to the fittings. The blade unusually does not have any makers mark. Full length chains with original DRGM marked clip. Some scuffing to the leather work but generally good condition.

Polish eagle holding brass shield with white Maltese cross to the centre, laid over a wreath with enamel crossed pennant flags. To the bottom is a U with 25 to the centre. Reverse of the badge has red cloth backing, screw post fitting. Brass dish to the reverse with makers details S A PICCHIANI & BARLACCHI 592 /2K. Small area of enamel damage but otherwise good condition.

Reverse of the flaming grenade ZNAK StUZBOWY ZANDARMERII with section for a number to be engraved. Screw discs on top fitting have F M LORIOLI MILANO ROMA makers mark. Good condition.

Pennons are accompanied by a pair of 3rd Carpathian Rifles collar badges with screw back fittings, enamel 3rd Carpathian Division screw back badge, brass Polish Hussars beret badge with two lug fittings to the reverse and a selection of Polish army tunic buttons. The badge has a screw back fitting on the reverse. Maker marked FRITZ KOHM METALLWARENFBK PFORZHEIM and numbered 9918. Some enamel damage to the centre.
