A Victorian strap and buckle bracelet set with specimen agates, composed of ten geometric links each divided and set with four different agates, including bloodstone, banded agate, moss agate, jasper and others, buckle and guard similar, set in unmarked white precious metal which tests for sterling silver; length 23cm
A silver inlaid brass covered ewer, possibly 13th century Mosul, the bud shaped lobes on the lid and the roundels on the shoulders of the baluster body inlaid with figures and animals, inscriptions on the ball cover knop neck and flared foot, the handle with a two strand spiral band and surmounted by a bird, 29cm (11.5 in) high (2) Other Notes: Although the Mosul craftsmen may have invented the spinning technique, the sheets forming the present vessel are brazed together. The metal is of light guage and the flush silver inlay features figures in various pursuits.
A pair of Edwardian silver sauce boats, by Nathan and Hayes, Chester 1908, each of plain oval form below cut edges and standing on three shell headed hoof feet, below a leaf capped flying scroll handle, 10.5cm high, 13.25oz In good condition apart from one tiny bruise, no splits or repairs

Joseph Wright (American 1756-1793) Portrait of a lady, head and shoulders wearing a white lace bonnet Inscribed on an original label verso: Jo Wright Pinx. No 6 Titchfield Street, Oxford Market, London also dated 1780 on the stretcher Oil on canvas, oval 33 x 25cm; 13 x 10in Wright arrived in England in 1775, his mother, the pioneering American sculptress Patience Wright, having arrived in 1772. He studied at the Royal Academy for 6 years winning a silver medal in 1778. In 1781 Wright and his mother went to Paris where he painted Benjamin Franklin. In 1782 he returned to America where he became from 1793 the principal designer and draughtsman for American coinage.
