dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Brescia, Smooth-bore, round, 16 mm cal. barrels, in finest damask, decorated with raisers, rib (different damask weave) with fore-sight; tang with sight, finely engraved with floral motifs; backward spring locks signed 'GALAGGI' and engraved en suite, the cocks featuring two lions placed on a rosette; briar-root, half stock, deeply embossed with floral motifs on the grip and left side with a bird and foliage. German silver mounts, trigger-guard with a hunter and hound. The barrels signed below 'A. FRANZINI GARDONE' and with a crowned stamp 'AF'. Brass-tipped wooden ramrod and iron cartridge extractor. A compartment for a bayonet in the butt-plate. length 121 cm.
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Berlin, Round, rifled, twisted, 16 mm cal. barrels (some pitting), with thick rib featuring a golden signature 'G. NOACK IN BERLIN' and 'FÜR URHAIN & WILLIAM A MOSKAU' without gilding, provided with silver fore-sight and fix rear sight. Base with golden outlines. Breeches engraved with rinceaux. Barrel's tang with elegant fawn in bass-relief, rinceaux and golden outlines (smooth escutcheon). Forward spring lock finely engraved with a deer, lynx, fawns and hound. Cocks with throw engraved with rinceaux and fishe's head. Wooden, half stock with checkered grip. Iron mounts. Nice patchbox with a scene of fight between wolves surrounded by rinceaux, lined with velvet inside. Smooth cheek-piece. Horn trigger guard. Wooden ramrod with iron and white metal mounts. length 98 cm.
