Victorian silver four piece tea set comprising teapot of faceted form, with engraved Gothic strapwork decoration, silver angular scroll handle with ivory insulators, scroll mounted spout, hinged domed and faceted cover with similar engraved decoration and octagonal flower-head finial, on four scroll feet, engraved presentation inscription, matching tall coffee pot, sugar and cream (London 1864), Robert Harper. All at approximately 81.5ozs, teapot 21cm overall height CONDITION REPORT Teapot - general overall condition good. Surface wear and scratching commensurate with age and use. Small area of pitted marking on right of cover hinge where hinge has been repaired. One foot slightly distorted. Top of finial slightly flat. Back of spout has slight crack. Insulators cracked. No other signs of major damage or repairs. Marks clear. Coffee pot - General overall condition very good. Surface wear and scratching commensurate with age and use. Minor creases and dents at bottom of some of the faceted panels. Insulators cracked. Small area of pitted marking at right of cover hinge where hinge has been re-pinned. No other signs of major damage or repair. Marks clear. Sugar and cream - general overall condition very good. Surface wear and scratching commensurate with age and use. Some dents on faceted panels. Feet slightly distorted. No other signs of major damage or repair. Marks clear
