A PAIR OF APPROXIMATELY 50 BORE PERCUSSION POCKET PISTOLS, fitted with 1 5/8'' damascus octagonal single barrels proved in Birmingham, their brass frames marked Collins, 12 Vigo Ln, Regent Street, London, their stocks are tastefully inlet with silver wire, the one lock appeared frozen however on deeper examination it revealed that the hammer had cracked straight through just above the frame, they are fitted with concealed triggers which appear as the hammers are cocked, each are numbered 42, they exhibit an extremely high quality of workmanship, James Collins 2nd ran a gun and pistol repository at 12 Vigo Lane, Regent Street between 1825 and 1832 prior to moving in 1833 to 115 Regent Streetcondition:One gun has a cracked hammer, cracked right through, the other gun mechanism cocks
