A William IV silver shaving mug, with reeded rim, crested, 95mm h, by Archibald Douglas, London 1831, 12ozs Converted to a jar or box by the inversion of the four legged stand, in which the mug is now enclosed, on the reverse beneath the hinge a socket for a handle, now lacking; dent on lid
A Victorian silver mounted leather folding timepiece, the die stamped mount with garden scene, 15cm h, by William Comyns & Sons, London 1898 and a contemporary nickel plated keyless lever Mammoth watch, the enamel dial signed for Edward & Sons, Glasgow (2) Silver with polish wear and residues but no holes observed, leather slightly scuffed, strut still present. The timepiece therein practically as new and running when wound. Glass scratched, enamel dial undamaged
