Twelve Victorian and Edward VII Silver Hackney Horse Society Medals, Seven Stamped 'Mappin & Webb London', Five Similarly Stamped and With Hallmarks For Mappin and Webb, Birmingham, two 1904, 1905, 1906 and 1908, each stamped on one side with a horse above the legend 'Hackney Horse Society', the reverse with a man on horseback, with suspension loop, seven in fitted red leather covered case, the inside of the cover with details of the winning horse, the case 9.5cm wide, 18oz 13dwt (12) Each of the cased medals was won by horses belonging to Dr Joseph Fuller, 2418 Bonnie Belle in 1897; 14103 Ashton Dorothy Derby in 1902, 1903, 1904, 1906 and 1909 and 11281 Mignon in 1907.
A Russian Silver Cup and Cover, by Peter Moller, St Petersburg, 1832, slightly tapering, the lower body applied with a sleeve stamped with figures, with foliage cast rim and scroll handle, the cover with loop handle, 12cm high, 6oz 5 dwt Peter Moller seems to have made cups of this form something of a speciality with a number of similar examples known, including one of 1825 with a sleeve perhaps from the same cast as that on the present example (Christie's, South Kensington, 10 June 2010, lot 136) and two other examples of 1823 and 1831 (Christie's, London, 24 November 2014, lot 429).

A French Empire Silver Miniature Toy Coffee-Pot, maker's mark indistinct, Paris, 1809-1819, pear-shaped and on three pad feet, with beak-form spout and turned wood handle, the hinged cover with wrythen knop finial and foliage border, 10cm high, 2oz 8dwt. Marked underneath, near handle and inside cover. There is wear to the marks overall, particularly the maker's mark which is indistinct. There have been a number of repairs, most noticeable at the spout and below the spout. These are both visible in the catalogue illustration. There are otherwise some overall surface scratches and wear, consistent with age and use and some very minor chips to the wood handle.
A Mount Blanc Meisterstück Ramses II Silver-Gilt and Lapis Lazuli Ball-Point Pen, Model Number EM100349, Circa 1995, with fluted gilt shaft and lapis lazuli inlaid cap, with burgundy leather carrying case and fitted box with outer sleeve, with booklet, signed certificate and polishing cloth, the box 17.2cm square Provenance: Joyas and Joyas, Jewellery and Watches, Tenerife, circa 1995. . The pen has some tarnish in places and contains a Mont Blanc ball point pen cartridge. There are some minor scuffs to the box and the leather case.

The race gets its name from the bell which was presented to the winner, the oldest of which is copied here, having originally been given by Lady Dacre.
