An antique Indian silver bowl of large form, stamped Madras to the animal catcher to the front of the train. 506 grams, diameter 24 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The bowl is a little misshapen in places when viewed from the top rim. There are however no holes and only one very small stress fracture to the top rim. The main body of the bowl does have some dents, none of which in our opinion are serious. The bottom plain band on the foot rim is dented and misshapen. One area is somewhat creased. There are various scratches to the underside of the base. The interior of the bowl is extremely dirty.
A pair of silver chamber candlesticks, with wooden bases, Birmingham 1907. Height 10.5 cm, together with a weighted single specimen vase. CONDITION REPORT: The candlesticks are in generally good order with no serious condition issues. Both have minor dents to the sconces and around the foot rim but no serious issues. The hallmarks are clear. The accompanying wase is in less good condition. There are more serious dents around the foot rim and stem but there are no losses. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
A silver oil lamp base with cut glass reservoir, with electric light fitting above. London hallmark 1901. Height to top of column 33 cm (see illustration). There do not appear to be any cracks to the reservoir and the column itself is also in very good order, simply extremely dirty. The hallmarks are clear with no significant rubbing.
