A 19th century whalebone and marine ivory walking stick with tortoiseshell and silver metal inlaid geometric and shield shaped panels and ring ferrules to the upper shaft with open work central twist columns and endless knot grip with reeded central shaft, tapering to end. An extremely fine example of sailor work and scrimshaw (34" overall) CONDITION REPORT: Overall good condition. There is one hairline crack to one section (see illustration). Small chip to knot and a few minor nibbles to tortoiseshell, (extra photos of these minor faults have been added to description). Very slight curve. Missing end ferrule.

Edwardian Junghans 'Plato' ticket clock with two sets of tickets in a revolving carriage, in a silver cylindrical case with moulded top and bottom separated by three turned pillars with a glass tube, top mounted carrying handle and clockwork movement in base (Birmingham 1904), 16cm overall height including handle CONDITION REPORT General overall condition good. Case has minor dents and scratches, glass in undamaged. Movement does not appear to be working and securing screws are missing. Tickets all move

This includes a letter dated 2nd February 1995 from Richard Aylard, the Private Secretary to HRH Prince of Wales in which he mentions the attack on The Prince of Wales in Sydney, Australia
