A fine 18th Century ivory and silver gilt mounted Turkish or Ottoman dagger, 30.5cm flattened diamond section blade finely chiselled with two mirrored stylised leaf motifs, characteristic waisted ivory hilt carved with a triple band at the midpoint, the rivet heads finished in silver gilt filigree in the form of flower heads, the side and pommel straps decorated to match, contained in its embossed white metal mounted purple velvet wrapped wooden scabbard, the mounts decorated with scrolling foliage.
A cased 100-bore six-shot percussion pepperbox revolver, 3inch fluted barrels with scalloped engraving at the muzzles, border and scroll engraved rounded German silver action and frame, scroll engraved bar-hammer, scroll engraved steel trigger guard, two-piece walnut grips, contained in its red velvet lined mahogany case complete with mould, flask, oil bottle and cap tin.
A fine silver plated St George's Rifles presentation sword, 82cm slightly curved blade by W. Jones & Co. Regent St London, etched with scrolling foliage, stands of arms, crowned VR cypher, strung bugle horn, regimental motifs and the presentation inscription PRESENTED TO QUARTERMASTER WILLIAM TOOGOOD ST GEORGES RIFLES AS A MARK OF ESTEEM BY A FEW FRIENDS 1870, regulation plated Gothic hilt profusely decorated with scrolls and incorporating the regimental motif of St George slaying the dragon within a laurel wreath, the back strap and pommel profusely decorated with scrolling foliage, wire bound fishskin grip, contained in its plated steel scabbard engraved with stylised acanthus leaves.
A good Third Reich Kriegsmarine Officer's dagger ensemble, 25cm flattened diamond section blade with double fullers and etched with scrolling foliage, entwined dolphins and fouled anchors on a matt ground, marked WKC at the forte, regulation gilt brass hilt with wire bound white celluloid grip, contained in its engraved gilt brass scabbard, complete with, knot, hanging straps and silver bullion belt with gilt buckle, accompanied by a Third Reich coffin drape. Generally good to very good condition with some fraying to knot and two hanging strap clips detached but present.
An 18th Century silver and ivory mounted hunting dagger by Jeffreys Cutler to His Majesty, 29.5cm blade, recurved silver quillons with scroll terminals, gadrooned central panel, spirally fluted ivory grip with silver bird's head pommel, contained in its silver mounted polished fishskin scabbard. Circa 1763, Daniel Jeffries, the Strand, Cutler to his Majesty 1763. Chape a later white metal replacement.
A fine 20-bore silver mounted flintlock Queen Anne cannon barrelled pistol by Columbell, 5.5inch three-stage turn-off barrel signed COLUMBELL to the right underside of the breech and further marked LONDON on the top of the breech, border and scroll engraved breech and tang, sliding trigger guard safety, bag shaped swollen wooden butt, elaborate silver mounts, the butt cap, side plate and escutcheon all on a stand of arms theme. See page 36 of The Queen Anne Pistol 1660-1780 by John W. Burgoyne for an illustration and a discussion of this pistol, complete with a copy of said book.
A pair of 32-bore silver mounted Papal Guard double barrelled flintlock coaching pistols by the Thiollierre Brothers, 5inch two-stage slightly swamped barrels engraved with a foliate flourish at the mid-point, bevelled locks signed THOLLIERRE FRERES to the right locks and ST ETIENNE to the left locks, full stocks carved about the mounts and with a bouquet about the barrel tangs, silver mounts to include foliate embossed ramrod pipes, foliate trigger guard terminals, the trigger guards decorated with a stand of arms, long-eared butt caps decorated with stands of arms to either side and on the butt caps, the latter also engraved PIE VII, the crowned shield shaped escutcheons engraved with a cross, ivory capped wooden ramrods. The engraving to the butt cap PIE VII refers to Pius VII, an Italian, born in 1740 who entered the Roman Catholic Church and was elected Pope in 1800 on the back of large support from the French Cardinals. Pius VII initially got on well with Napoleon agreeing the re-establishment of the French Churn in 1801. Pius visited Paris in 1804 for four months and "crowned" Napoleon as Emperor. A turn around in support saw a French army invade Rome and the Papal territories in 1808. At some stage these were either presented to Pius VII, an Officer of the Papal Guard or a member of the Papal Entourage. One fore-end repaired and one wrist. Purchasers will require a CITES certificate if they wish the ramrod tips to accompany these pistols outside of the EU. Purchaser in America will not be able to have the ramrod tips.
A good Queen Anne flintlock boxlock pocket pistol by Richards, 1.75inch three-stage ring-turned turn off cannon barrel, border engraved lock decorated with swags and signed I. RICHARDS LONDON, sliding trigger-guard safety, slab sided wooden butt inlaid with scrolling silver wire.

The paper with a watermark of the artist was made by Kaldeway Press. Presented in the original grey papered slipcase. Silver titled at spine. P
