A pair of Russian silver gilt and cloisonne enamel sugar tongs, Moscow, made for Tiffany & Co, year mark rubbed, probably 1887, with enamelled leaf design, approx 14.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Some of the turqoise bead enamells missing, a couple of spots of white enamel damage but overall good.
A pair of George III silver candlesticks, Sheffield c.1781, John Winter & Co (John Winter, John Parsons and Charles Hall) with fluted urn shape sconces above fluted tapering stem, raised on swirled gadrooned circular foot with beaded border, engraved crest to base rim, loaded, approx 30cm high. (2) CONDITION REPORT: A couple of minor dents to the base side of one stick. One drip pan detatched from sconce insert tube, otherwise both in good condition.
A pair of George III silver sauce tureens and covers, London c.1791, Cornelius Bland, each of boat form, with twin scroll handles and reeded rim, raised on spreading oval foot, engraved crest to side, the covers with urn finials, approx 25cm wide, approx 36.2oz. (2) CONDITION REPORT: Stamped marks to both bases and covers. Marks crisp and clear. Good overall condition with slight shallow dents to one side of one tureen.
Three silver novelty pin cushions, in the form of a mother wren and two chicks emerging from their shells, all Samson Morden & Co, the mother bird Chester c.1905, the largest chick Chester (date letter rubbed) the smallest chick Chester (date letter partially rubbed, possibly 1906) approx 5cm, 4cm & 3cm long respectively. (3) CONDITION REPORT: Large: good condition. Medium: Good condition. Small: Dent to side and small dents to base.
A large silver novelty pin cushion in the form of a harp, Birmingham c.1910, Williams (Birmingham) Ltd, with blue velvet pin pads to either side and holes along the top bar, approx 10cm high x 7cm wide. CONDITION REPORT: Generally good condition with minor dents and some wear to the base.
