Swiss red wool coatee with red stand up collar and blue tape. 14 silver coin style buttons. Shoulder boards each with small silver button and white tape. Blue wool sleeves. Red lining with one left breast pocket. Tails lined in blue wool. Five sets of numbers in lining. Black makers label reading J. Lia???? Kaiser - Basel.
Late Victorian. Honourable Artillery Company SNCO's scarlet frock coat with dark blue stand-up collar with bullion flaming bombs, red cord shoulder knots ending in buttons, dark blue cuffs with silver bullion on sleeves, eight silver buttons with cypher in front, white lining, side pocket. Very good condition overall.
Comprised of: 1 & 2) Two pair of British Diplomat or Officer’s trousers that are dark blue superfine with figured metallic silver lace stripes, both are boot cut and one having a button fly. 3) British officer's dark blue or black, bootcut overalls of woolen webbing. 4) Grey gabardine riding breeches with gold soutache and welt in outseam and a broad scarlet stripe on each side. 5) Grey wool twill breeches with crimson welt on outseams, fall front and stamped on the waist band with a "G" inside a red shield and also stamped in red, "VAUD/8". 6) Leather broad fall breeches with hook and eye closures at knee bands. 11 domed brass buttons spaced at regular intervals down outseam. (probably theatrical)
Of navy blue wool with yellow stand-up collar, sleeve facings, piping and lower lining. Single breasted. French costumer stamp and white lining. Fringed silver bullion epaulettes, all original 19th century. Features nine pewter imperial eagle buttons down the front breast, three on each cuff and pocket. Flaming grenade patches on tails. Showing wear, minor repairs and scattered moth damage throughout.
Comprised of: 1) Russian cherkesska with bullion trim cuffs and edging. Two pockets with bullion trim, wire and eight silver ball buttons and half lining. Each pocket has seven loops for wooden tubes for ornamental bullets. Good condition with some wear to cuffs and material separation. 2) Russian cherkesska with white bullion trim, turned up green cuffs, half lining and 36 loops to hold wooden tubes, in very good condition. 3) Russian tunic shirt with 4 buttons, red shoulder boards, number 190 and one button each, in excellent condition.
Comprised of: 1) A French gold bullion officer’s epaulettes with two silver stars, fringe and eagle button with crown and snake, black underside with attachment hooks. Bullion has dark spots, in good condition. 2) Pair are French silver epaulettes with fringe and rooster buttons, red underside and brass attachments. Red undersides have holes and are detached but present, in fair to good condition.
Comprised of: 1) An American white epaulettes with bullion fringe and brass eagle button with letter A, white undersides with attachments. One marked for 3rd Sargent and one 4th Sargent. Moth holes and stains, in good condition. 2) French officer’s silver bullion epaulettes, brass lion button with crown and fringe, black undersides. Moth holes, missing one fringe, in fair condition.
Comprised of: 1) Sky blue wool child's tail coat with pants, fall down collar, lapels and cuffs of black velvet. Silver bullion with aiguillette with toggles, slightly convex silver buttons grouped in pairs (8 on each lapel, two below), lining stamp "BAL138" with theatrical house markings as well. overall in very good condition, pair of blue wool pants, five button fly, missing four buttons. Moth holes, color fading. 2) Unknown black wool tailcoat with tails cut off, gold bullion on stand-up collar, gold bullion shoulder boards in edging, red silk quilted lining, silver bullion lace on cuffs, in very good condition overall outside of missing skirts. 3) Shell jacket possibly altered from frock coat. Has replaced collar, black/blue wool faded greenish, US General Staff buttons, circa 1880's. Poor condition.
Comprised of: three (3) pairs of reproduction 18th century breeches; one (1) pair of dark blue theatrical, uniform riding breeches with silver mylar stripe on the outseam; five (5) pairs of cotton trousers of various cut, some of which some are military; one (1) pair of glazed, red with blue blue stripes on outseam; one (1) pair of British horse guards, riding breeches of pipe clayed leather.
