1953 BSA C11 250cc Transmission: paddleMileage:33925This BSA has a maroon frame and guards with a silver tank and comes with its original buff logbook and according to the vendor it runs well. It is a lovely original bike with ‘barn find’ looks but can be ridden. We would suggest that a full inspection is undertaken prior to riding on the road however.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Lot 127

1978 Bentley T2 Transmission: automaticMileage:52852The Bentley T-Series was the Bentley badged version of the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow, available as a four or two-door saloon with coachwork by James Young or Mulliner Park Ward. The Bentley differed from its Rolls-Royce equivalent by its more rounded front grille while the badging on the wheel covers, boot lid and gauges naturally featured Bentley motifs. In October 1966, the ‘T’ saloon's pre-tax 'list price' of £5,375 undercut the Rolls-Royce by £50! The Bentley was technically an identical twin of the Rolls-Royce and seemed to have been purchased mostly by owners wishing for a more understated luxury saloon. This magnificent example presents well in the extremely popular colour of Caribbean blue, this is contrasted with blue leather front seats and blue velour rear seats. This difference in materials was apparently the request of the first owner’s wife who preferred the warm feel of velour when being chauffeur driven. The condition of this rare Bentley is extremely good. Not surprising when the file that accompanies the car shows restoration invoices between 2017 and 2018 totalling an eye watering £33,800. Works included a bare metal respray, rewiring to ensure correct working of switches and dials and the fitment of a new air conditioning unit which we are reliably informed blows ice cold air on request. We are also told that this Bentley is a joy to drive and that he has recently spent £1445 on servicing. A letter from the Bentley Drivers Club dated 2018 is present and suggests a valuation for insurance of £32,500 which also makes us believe that this wonderful example is sensibility estimated. Offered to auction with a V5C registration document, the only reason for sale is an unexpected move by the vendor who says he will miss this Bentley very much. Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.

Lot 147

1998 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur IV Transmission: automaticMileage:49971Unveiled in June 1995 for the 1996 model year, the fourth and final series of the Silver Spirit and Silver Spur were heavily revised and improved by Rolls-Royce. However, the new cars were simply known as New Silver Spirit and New Silver Spur as the IV suffix was a symbol of death in some Far Eastern regions. As before, the Silver Spur was the long-wheelbase version of the Silver Spirit gaining an additional four inches extra in the rear compartment. Externally the cars sported new integrated wrap-around bumpers and both the front grille and Spirit of Ecstasy were reduced in size, all of which significantly modernised the design. In addition, the spare wheel was relocated inside the boot under the carpeted floor rather than underneath the car, as on previous models, which created a crisper style at the rear and a cleaner wheel-changing process. New distinctive 16” wheels were designed and the front door quarterlights were deleted. The interior was also extensively remodelled with a new dashboard and centre console design and electrically adjustable steering wheel which automatically raised and lowered to ease entry and exit. The revised seats received vertical fluting and the new seat design also allowed an extra inch of headroom. This wonderful one owner from new until 2021, left hand drive example of this luxurious model is presented in probably the best colour combination of Royal Blue metallic with Parchment leather interior. The sumptuous interior is in very good condition throughout with heated front and rear seats, air conditioning, picnic tables to the rear and the front seats are electrically operated. The car comes with its original books and toolkit and has nine service invoices in the history file. This is one of the finest examples of this rare model on the market particularly with such low mileage. Regal in aesthetics and sublime in comfort, surely a must for those connoisseurs wanting something a bit special.

Lot 150

2000 Mercedes-Benz SL320 Transmission: automaticMileage:62890Unveiled at the March 1989 Geneva Motor Show, the new Mercedes-Benz R129 Series SL range was beautifully engineered. Based around a two-door monocoque bodyshell, its sophisticated, all-round independent suspension (double-wishbone front/five-link rear) was augmented by a host of active and passive safety features including electronic stability control, ventilated ABS disc brakes, adaptive-damping shock absorbers, front airbags and an integral rollover bar that deployed in less than a third of a second if the car ever sensed an impending flip. Suitably cosseting, the convertible's impeccably built cabin consisted of a fully automated power hood and featured such advancements as memory seats, electric windows and mirrors and an adjustable steering column. Yet lurking beneath all the luxury and refinement was a performance orientated sports car. This lovely example of this popular and final R129 model is presented in silver with a black leather interior. It comes with a book pack, service book with ten stamps and was last serviced 600 miles ago in 2020, six invoices can be seen in the history file. The car also comes with its Japanese Mileage Guarantee Certificate verifying its mileage as correct. These, last of the line V6 engined SL’s are extremely popular models today and this particular SL320 represents great value for money considering its original book price.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Lot 183

1991 Bentley Turbo RL Transmission: automaticMileage:31414The Bentley Turbo R initially inherited the turbocharged engine from the Mulsanne Turbo and also sported a retuned suspension and wider tyres on alloy wheels, quite a departure for a Bentley. From the 1987 model year, however, the Turbo R's V8 engine was retuned with new Bosch MK-Motronic fuel injection for added torque. Other modifications carried out at the same time included new sports seats and a higher rear axle ratio. Motor Trend called the Turbo R ‘the first Bentley in decades deserving of the famous name’. The suspension changes, though seemingly subtle, transformed the heavy car into a real performer and slotted above the Bentley Mulsanne S and Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit and it carved a well-deserved niche in the world of performance saloons. This lovely and original example of this long wheelbase model is presented in black with black leather interior and red piping to match the coachline on the exterior. It comes with air conditioning, electric front and rear seats which are also heated (front only) and electrically operated wing mirrors. The car also has its service book containing a reasonably good number of stamps within it from both main dealer and independent specialists. Both the bodywork and the interior are in good condition considering its age but with only 31,414 miles from new, one would expect this!Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.

Lot 185

1966 Ford Mustang V8 Convertible Transmission: automatic Mileage:47000 The Ford Mustang is an American icon and was originally based on the Ford Falcon compact. The first production Mustang rolled off the assembly line in Dearborn, Michigan on 9th March, 1964 and was introduced to the public at the New York World's Fair on 17th April, 1964. It was, and remains one, of the most successful product launches in automotive history. The Mustang sold over one million units in its first 18 months on the market and its legend lives on with revised models still in production today after 43 years. With each revision, the Mustang saw an increase in overall dimensions and in engine power. By 1969, the muscle car race was on and Ford offered a 351, 428 Cobra Jet and other performance engines available in most models and often ordered with the Fastback and Mach One cars. The '69 Boss 302 and Shelby (available since 1965), were specialty Mustangs offered with both high-performance engines and race-breed suspensions. Ford added a Fastback to its 1965 Mustang line-up but the convertible holds a special place in American culture and was heavily publicised as 'a car to escape the mundane nature of life.'This very well-presented example was built in the Dearbon, Michigan factory as the automatic, V8, convertible example as you see today. Offered in the desirable colour combination of Silver Blue metallic over a Pony Blue and white leather interior, this Mustang has been the subject of a restoration over the past two years. During the restoration the car was treated to various works including a bare metal respray, new interior, a replacement 302 V8 engine mated to a Edelbrock carburettor, new front suspension, a brake overhaul and a new convertible hood. The cost of the work exceeding £20,000. Also fitted is a Kicker Bluetooth system with a USB charging port for modern technology. The vendor reports that this Mustang attracts huge amounts of attention wherever it goes although suggests that the rear interior panels and dashboard would benefit from refurbishment to match the restoration. Offered with many original parts and panels, the paintwork is in excellent condition and the interior and engine bay are both presented very well indeed. This well-presented example sits on four new Hankook white wall tyres and comes complete with a sizeable history file including many invoices and photographs of the restoration, the UK registration document, and an MoT test certificate valid until July 2022. Interested parties should note that this vehicle is now offered without reserve.

Lot 191

1972 Mercedes-Benz 280 SE Coupé (3.5 Litre) Transmission: automaticMileage:91876In the summer of 1965, Mercedes-Benz launched its new replacements for both W 111 and W 112 saloons, the W 108 and W 109 respectively. In a bizarre twist of fate, this car's design was based on the W 111 coupé but widened and squared off as the fintail fashion was quickly fading by the mid 1960s. However, both W 111 and W 112 models were modernised; the 220 SE was superseded by the 250 SE which featured the new 2,496cc engine, producing 150bhp at 5500rpm, giving it a significant improvement in top speed. Visibly, the changes only affected the new 14 rims with new wheel trims; this was to accommodate the larger disk brakes and the new rear axle. In November 1967, the 250 SE was superseded by the new 280 SE. Inside, the car received wood veneer on the dashboard and other minor changes. A final model was added in August 1969, the 280 SE, 3.5 litre. It was fitted with the brand-new M116, 3,499cc, V8 engine with 200bhp at 5,800rpm, a top speed of 130mph and a 0-100 at 9.5 seconds. To accommodate the large engine, the car's front grill was widened and front bumpers were modified. This fabulous and original right hand drive example is the much sort after V8 example and is presented in pristine silver/blue metallic with light beige leather interior. The wood panels and facia are in exemplary condition throughout, as are all the leather seats. This model is powered by the strong and hugely desirable 3.5 litre V8 engine which is wonderful on long journeys, coping effortlessly with motorway cruising but is just as at home in the winding country roads. There is a substantial history file presented with this Mercedes-Benz which contains many invoices for work done over the years, accompanying this are original Mercedes booklets and many previous MoT test certificates. Restored to a very high standard by the current vendor, this car was taken back to bare metal and the body and chassis were repaired and treated where necessary, the photos on file showing just how thorough the restoration was. The engine, interior and paintwork were also extensively renewed by marque specialists and present in excellent order throughout. This is one of best examples of this model available on the market today.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.

Lot 193

2001 Mercedes-Benz SL500 Silver Arrow Transmission: automaticMileage:54600The 4973cc, R129 Mercedes-Benz SL500 carried on the tradition of the fast and reliable grand touring convertible from Mercedes-Benz. Born out of the earlier 500 SL models, the new SL500 featured many new and innovative ideas for the time such as controlled electronic damping, automatically expanding rollover bar and a more modern multi-link rear axle. A fully operating electric hood, windows, door mirrors and seats made this model easy and comfortable to operate. With powerful engines, stopping power was aided by anti-locking braking for reassurance. During 1995, a mild facelift was carried out to the model range that included revisions to the headlights, taillights and several new features adopted as standard including side air bags, automatic climate control and ESP. A special edition of 2001 SL500 and SL600 was made to celebrate the 1930's Silver Arrow race car. It had a two-tone interior, leather on steering wheel and seats, and special wheels. Built mainly for the US market, right hand drive SL500 Silver Arrows are rare; it is believed that only a hundred were made for the UK market. The Mercedes-Benz SL500 Silver Arrow Limited Edition offered here is one of the 100 UK supplied cars and was first registered in March 2002. Having covered a mere 54,600 miles, this stunning example is finished in Silver Arrow metallic silver with grey and black leather interior. The car boasts a sizeable history file and the last service recorded was carried out recently and included a replacement of the shock absorbers. Specification highlights include factory panoramic hardtop, climate control, cruise control, 18” alloy wheels, electric seats with memory, heated seats, CD auto-changer and wind-deflector. This stunning SL is the perfect opportunity to own a usable modern classic that will surely appreciate over time.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Lot 209

1955 Cadillac Coupe De Ville Transmission: automaticMileage:73556The Cadillac Series 40-62 was produced by Cadillac from 1940 through 1964. Originally designed to complement the entry level Series 65, it became the Cadillac Series 6200 in 1959, and remained that until it was renamed to Cadillac Calais for the 1965 model year. The Series 62 included a lower sleeker body, a new cellular grille insert and inverted gullwing front bumpers and tapered Dagmar style bumper guards. Round jet style dual exhaust outlets were incorporated into the vertical bumper extensions and the rear bumper was entirely redesigned. The Series 62 could be distinguished by the lack of rear fender louvers.Automatic windscreen washers, power steering, 12-Volt electrical system and aluminium alloy pistons made the long list of standard equipment for the first time. Power steering, windows, seats, and automatic headlight dimming were optional. In 1955, the grille was redesigned with wider spaces between the blades and the parking lamps were repositioned directly below the headlights. The Coupe de Ville had a golden script nameplate at the upper body belt just forward of the rear window pillar. Tubeless tires were a new standard Cadillac feature and sales reached a record 118,190, accounting for nearly 84% of all Cadillac's sold. Standard equipment included back-up lights, turn signals and automatic transmission. Mechanics rated the 0-60 mph time as 17.3 seconds at the time and air conditioning was provided by Frigidaire optionally and consisted of a self-contained unit that was retrofitted at the customers request.Presented in Champagne over Silver gunmetal, this well-known and respected Cadillac Coupe De Ville has been owned and loved by its current owner since 2012, it is published in American Car magazine that our owner even re-mortgaged her house in order to purchase this example! Nicknamed ‘King’ (Elvis too had a 1955 Coupe De Ville), to say this is a cherished example would be somewhat of an understatement with our owner and the car frequenting many a car shows together and on occasion winning best in show. In 2014 it was decided ‘King’ required some engine work and thus our vendor researched long and hard and after numerous recommendations settled upon Kevin of Zodiac Motor Services, the work as it turned out was obviously very good as the pair have since married and have enjoyed car shows together! As a side note our vendor never had to pay for the full engine rebuild but it is documented in the history file alongside the story of the purchase within the four page feature in American Car magazine. Also found within the history file are the original manuals and a photo book of the body restoration alongside the UK V5C registration document. It must be stressed that many 50’s Cadillacs lack the credentials to lace the boots of TSY 305 and we feel this estimate is very good value for such an iconic car in great all-round condition and especially with the assurance of a relatively recent full engine rebuild.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.

1999 Bentley Arnage Red Label Transmission: automaticMileage:56342Launched in 1998, the Arnage was manufactured in Crewe from 1998 to 2009 with its Rolls-Royce sibling, the Silver Seraph, introduced in the Spring of 1998. They were the first entirely new designs for the two marques since 1980 when the Silver Spirit and Mulsanne models were introduced. The new Arnage (Green Label) was to be powered by a BMW V8 engine with Cosworth-engineered, twin-turbo chargers and the Seraph was to employ a BMW V12 engine. The Arnage Red Label was launched in October 1999 with the engine reverting back to Bentley power using the traditional V8 engine and a displacement of 6750cc. As part of the modification process, both Red and Green Label cars benefitted from expanded leg room in the cabin, stiffer bodyshells and larger wheels and brakes.Originally registered in December 1999, this Bentley has covered 56,432 from new and is finished in the delightful colour combination of Verdant Green with Parchment interior, piping and a green top roll. This impressive Bentley has been well looked after and has a service book showing 16 stamps from main agents or specialists. Forming part of a deceased estate, this Arnage has seen very little use in recent years. In fact, the most recent service was undertaken by marque specialists Royce Engineering of Surrey in 2019 with 56,027 miles showing! Supplied to auction with a V5C registration document, various bills and receipts and a fresh MoT test certificate, this Bentley saloon offers incredible value for money when considering its original price tag of over £150,000.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Lot 228

1961 Corvette Corvette C1 Transmission: manual Mileage:6663 General Motors designer Harley Earl loved sports cars and was influenced by the GI’s bringing home MGs, Jaguars, Alfa Romeo’s and the like after hostilities ceased in Europe in 1945. Even the small independent carmaker, Nash Motors, began selling a two seater sports car in 1951. Earl convinced GM that they also needed to build a two seat sports car. Earl and his 'special projects' crew began working on the new car later that year which was code named 'Opel'. The result was the 1953 Corvette, which took its name from a small, manoeuvrable fighting frigate and was unveiled to the public at that year's Motorama Car Show. This stunning 1961 Corvette has been owned and upgraded by its current, enthusiast, owner for some 12 years. A twice ‘Best in Class’ winner at the nationals in 2007 and 2008. Finished in Polaris Silver over Ivory coves and complemented by black Al Knoch trim, this example presents almost as new. Sympathetically upgraded and fully restored this ‘Vette’ boasts a 350ci small block Chevrolet engine mated to a TH350 transmission, a turn of the key and the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end, the sound is fabulous. Upgrades however did not stop with the engine and gearbox, the end goal was a C1 that could be used on UK roads as a more modern sports car so independent front suspension, rack and pinion steering, a Chevrolet 10 bolt rear end, uprated six pot Wilwood disc brakes and coil over adjustable suspension for a perfect setup were added amongst numerous other upgrades. The history file contains comprehensive invoices and receipts coupled to a workshop manual, V5 registration document and details of the numerous upgrades and details from the restoration. This is one of the most stunning examples we have seen but, in this instance, also one of the best examples to actually drive, performing well against cars half its age. Viewing is highly recommended you will not be disappointed. Interested parties should note that the private registration plate shown is to be retained by the vendor and a new, age-related registration issued instead. Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 1989 Porsche 928 S4 Transmission: automaticMileage:59567These fabulous sports cars were unveiled at the Geneva Salon in 1977 and voted Car of the Year for 1978. It was intended as an upmarket replacement for the long-running 911 but in the event Porsche's rear-engined classic would outlive its younger sibling. The front-engined 928's stylish hatchback body featured aluminium doors, bonnet and front wings in the interests of weight saving, while ingenious impact resistant 'bumpers' made of colour matched plastic were incorporated into the nose and tail. A five-speed transaxle gearbox or three-speed automatic were the transmission options, in 1979 the 928S with its 4.6 litre engine arrived and then in 1986 the model was further revised and restyled, becoming the 928 S4. Its engine producing 320bhp courtesy of twin-cam, 16 valve cylinder heads and enlargement to 4,957cc, the S4 enjoyed a welcome top speed boost to 160mph.Originally registered in Jersey by Five Oaks Porsche Centre and imported to the UK in July 1994, this fabulous example is presented in its original silver paint with full burgundy leather interior and seats with multicolour cloth seat inlays. Its optional equipment is listed as having recoil bumpers, automatic transmission, Series 4 logo, lumbar support in the driver’s seat and a ten CD/ player radio. Its mighty V8 provides plenty of power for those who wish to travel a little more exuberantly or indeed it is just as at home pottering along in the confines of a city. The car also comes with a full set of Continental N1 tyres and two sets of keys. Porsche Club GB members eulogise over this car for being totally original and having several details that have been lost on many 928's.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 1998 BMW 840Ci Transmission: manualMileage:38469When the Klaus Kapitza designed 8 Series was launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1989, it felt like a glimpse into the future with its angular styling. An upmarket range with superior performance and price tag to match, the 8 Series was designed to be a standalone premium model although seen to be the successor to the 6 Series. The 8 Series was offered in 830i, 840Ci and 850i/Ci form and, when introduced in mid-1993, it was fitted with a 4 litre, V8 engine mated to either a five-speed automatic or a six-speed manual transmission. Producing a very healthy 282bhp, this version could achieve the 0-62mph sprint in an impressive 6.9 seconds; importantly with the naturally aspirated V8, acceleration was effortless and refined. Over $1 billion dollars are said to have been spent on the car's design with CAD design and wind tunnel technology. From mid-1995, production phased in the newer 4.4 litre M62B44 engine, which had better fuel economy and more torque, though power output remained unchanged.Originally supplied by the BMW main dealer in Hull, this very good 1998 BMW 840ci has only covered 38,500 miles from new and is believed to have belonged to a Member of Parliament and registered JIA 61. The car passed through a couple of members of his family until it was put into storage sometime in 2009 at approximately 37,800 miles, having always been serviced and maintained by BMW dealers. It was purchased by the current owner in 2019 who had seen the car parked in the garage for ten years and has since put it back on the road. This 840ci finished in silver with light grey leather interior has recently had a service and new MoT and is supplied with a UK V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires in June 2022 and the complete handbook pack. BMW 8 Series are certainly becoming a more appreciated modern classic and this example with its low mileage will be quite sought after. What better way to enjoy driving than in this pillarless coupé.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Its meagre mileage from new is just 20,300 and its condition is totally commensurate with this, supplied with the book pack and the on-board service schedule up to date. This surely must be one of the best examples of this terrific ‘work horse’ from the German manufacturer and its smooth V6 petrol engine is a joy.Guide Price £8,000 - £11,000 Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 1999 Mercedes-Benz SL 320 Millennium Edition Transmission: automaticMileage:76856Following the resounding success of the R107, the R129 Mercedes-Benz SL had a rather tough act to follow, and it still had to carry on the tradition of a fast and reliable grand touring convertible. The advantage designers had with the R129 was technology. By the time the final car rolled off the production line in 1989, these earlier models had been in production for 18 years with very little change. Therefore the new SL featured many new and innovative ideas, such as controlled electronic damping, automatically expanding roll-over bar and a more modern multi-link rear axle. In addition to this was a fully operating electric hood, windows, door mirrors and seats, which made this model easy and comfortable to operate. The SL boasted a more powerful engine and the stopping power was aided by anti-locking braking for added reassurance. This stunning metallic silver Millennium Edition 320 R129 is complemented by full black leather and a panoramic hardtop which is very desirable for this marque. Within the full book pack there is a service booklet stamped comprehensively with the most recent with Mercedes-Benz specialists Hampshire Service Centre in Fleet at 76,848 miles in July this year. The car has had just six former keepers in 23 years and feels like a low mileage and low owner car. Also in the history file are invoice and service schedules from Mercedes-Benz and an MoT test certificate valid until March 2022. Heated electric seats and the original stereo name but a few extras these Millennium Editions were very well specified with. This car is a perfect for top down motoring this summer with the added bonus of being a potential appreciating modern classic, just look at the R107 prices rising exponentially.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.

2004 Jaguar XKR Carbon Edition Transmission: automaticMileage:87016The XK8 is a grand tourer car that was launched in 1996 and was the first generation of a new XK series available in both coupé and convertible body styles and with the new 4.0 litre Jaguar AJ-V8 engine. The 1998 XKR was introduced with a supercharged version of the engine. Both the XK8 and XKR are electronically limited to a maximum of 155mph; the top speed of its predecessor, the XJS V12, being 158mph. A navigation system and self-levelling xenon headlamps came as standard with the XKR with Jaguar's adaptive cruise control as an optional feature available on both models. Both come with all leather interior, burr walnut trim and side airbags. Jeremy Clarkson, during a Top Gear test drive, likened the interior of the original XK8 to sitting inside Blenheim Palace. The Carbon Edition was offered by Jaguar in 2004 with only 100 cars produced. A split of 50 convertibles and 50 coupés were built, with a bonus for the lucky clientele of an invitation by Jaguar to a complimentary short break at Skibo Castle or Bovey Castle to celebrate their new purchase. This rare, desirable 2004 XKR Carbon Edition was supplied new to a very high specification. Finished in black, the interior features Recaro embossed cream leather sports seats, carbon fibre dashboard and internal inlays, Jaguar steeled pedals, aluminium embossed door entry guards, cream carpets and leather door cards, Alpine stereo system, adaptive cruise control, full colour information screen with satellite navigation and black leather bound multi-functional steering wheel. The exterior is also well-defined with a modified nose with a bright silver mesh front grille, factory fitted 20-inch Sepang performance R split cast alloy wheels, four chrome exhaust tips, performance R embossed red brake calipers, rear parking sensors and the signature XKR body detailing and vents. This Jaguar XKR has covered approximately 87,000 miles from new and this year has been completely gone through having all necessary repairs carried out. The car is supplied with a UK V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires in February 2022 and handbook pack showing a full service history. This now highly rare, modern day classic offers a unique pathway into the heritage of Jaguar with quality examples such as this being sought after by Jaguar enthusiasts worldwide.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Lot 286

2005 Mercedes-Benz C55 AMG Estate Transmission: automaticMileage:54699The C55 signified a return to AMG’s V8 roots, after barely a three-year flirtation with a supercharged V6. AMG found 8,100 homes for the C32, but the AMG engineers seemed much happier now that there was a serious, big capacity, naturally aspirated 5.4 litre V8 powering the meatiest C-Class and the badge is there to, well, to ensure the owners don’t forget. It’s not the performance, AMG claimed 5.2 seconds to 62mph for both C55 and C32, or even the transformation to a deep, wonderfully muscular exhaust note, but the makeover in the dynamics that stood the new sports saloon or estate apart. The C55 marked a small, but perceptible, shift towards a sharper, more sporting focus, that set it closer to the M3 than any previous AMG hot rod C-Class. This example is presented in silver with black leather interior. Originally registered in Japan on 1st June 2005, was imported to the UK and registered to its first UK owner on 10th November 2018. Owned by a Mercedes-Benz enthusiast the car comes complete with Japanese service book showing the car was serviced in 2005, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016 corroborating the mileage at 34,952 miles when imported, this is supplemented by its UK servicing showing servicing in 2018, 2019, and 2020 with mileage at 52,028. The UK servicing was carried out by independent garages for which invoices are available. With these examples air conditioning, electric seats, electric windows and cruise control were fitted as standard. With the values of the earlier Cosworth-inspired super sports Mercedes rocketing well into six figures, this pure-blood AMG is already a collectible Mercedes AMG hot rod, with blistering performance and that oh-so-inspiring and famous AMG V8 exhaust note. An awesome car which is also ideal for the family, what a great combination!Guide Price £9,000 - £14,000 Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction.
