Early 20th century Sucessionist bowl rim decorated with with winged masks and inset with Chalcedony ovals Probably German stamped 930M Import marks London 1902 gross weight 30ozs diameter 9" Good condition , no splits or dents cabouchons good, bowl tarnished . All silver except for chalcedony .
Ambrose Heal (1872-1959) for Heals Furnitures, dressing table, bedside cabinet and chair exhibited at the Paris Exhibition 1900. Fumed oak inlaid with pewter and ebony with three drawers and secret jewellery drawer all with pewter drop handles, hexagonal mirror . Provenance: Designed by Ambrose Heal for the Paris exhibition of 1900 the suite was presented on a stand with chequerboard border designed by Ambrose Heal`s cousin the architect Cecil Brewer it was to become a hallmark of Heals advertising. It was awarded a silver medal. 56½ x 44½ x 21in. (142 x 112 x 53cm)

Arne Bang a studio pottery preserve pot with silver plated lid the lid of stepped concentric design, deep blue grey and green mottled glaze, incised monogram. Arne Bang 1901-1983 Born in Demark he trained as a sculptor at the Academy of Arts. After graduating he worked for Holmegaard producing distinctive stoneware. In his own studio he worked with Karl Halier, items created often had organic forms and typical colours of blue green and grey, understated works with crystalline glazes, his wish was to produce pottery that was beautiful but affordable and during the 1930`s thousands of hand crafted items were produced. Today Arne Bang ceramics are collected not only in his native Denmark but throughout mainland Europe, America and parts of Asia, his work appears in a number of museum collections. From a collection of Arne Bang ceramics that was assembled by the vendor over a period of more than ten years while researching a book on the work of Denmark`s most famous potter. 5.10in. (13cm)

Palmer Bar by the tenantry of the Staunton Harold Estate and the Tradesmen of Ashby de la Zouch and Melbourne employed by the Ferrers Family as a mark of their respect and esteem, August 19th 1873`, fully fitted retractable interior with gilt framed looking glass to the inner lid concealing a stationery compartment, clear cut glass cosmetic bottles and jars with bright cut engraved silver mounts by William Neal, London 1865/68, silver gilt/steel implements by Henry Holland, Betjemann, S.
