Lot 217

A VW Polo Hatchback 1.4S 75 petrol-engined 5 door Automatic Motor Car finished in attractive metallic silver. Registration no. LA55DZS, first registered on 24th February, 2006. New M.O.T. until the 8th November, 2021. Currently showing 49,636 mls. Seems to drive nicely, very nippy. Sadly from the deceased estate of very loyal clients of our business. Had been standing for a few months when we collected the vehicle but started with the help of a jump pack. A new battery has been fitted as well as two brand new front tyres for the test, which also required a new coil spring, attention to the anti-roll bar and minor attention to the windscreen washers. Owned by the lady and gentleman since 2013 when it was purchased in Hereford with some 39,000 miles on the clock. Inspection of the on-line M.O.T. history will reveal an anomaly in that it is recorded that on the 25th August, 2017 the mileage was 122,314. Discussion with the family reveals that this is impossible as the car was only used for local visits into town. At the following M.O.T.; which was carried out at the same garage that had been used for years, the mileage falls back into line at 48,425, this on the 21st August, 2018. There are relatively minor abrasions to the front offside wing and the front bumper where it appears that fairly gentle contact may have occurred with one of the stone pillars of the comparatively narrow entrance to the late owners' rural home. An opportunity to purchase a low mileage vehicle that has the potential to last many years. Unfortunately the owners' manual and the service history have not been found. The car is currently S.O.R.N.'d and a V5C document is present and in the name of one of the executors. There are two keys with the car. ***N.B. - THE BUYER'S PREMIUM ON THIS LOT WILL BE 10% + V.A.T. (TOTAL PREMIUM 12%) - If purchased via the-saleroom.com, an additional 5% + V.A.T. will be added (TOTAL 18%)***
