A Victorian silver four piece tea & coffee service, Barnard & Sons Ltd., London 1874, comprising a teapot, coffee pot, milk jug and twin handled sugar basin, of ribbed shaped oval tapering form, highly engraved with floral and foliate garlands and a cartouche to either side, one vacant and opposing side bearing prancing creature family crest / armorial, the teapot and coffee pot with bone handles and finials, the tallest measuring 8½in. (21.6cm.), gross weight 55 tr.oz. (4) * The bone handles with shrinkage cracks and hairlines, teapot handle loose in mounts, otherwise excellent condition with very good hallmarks.

(3) * Overall very good condition, having clear hallmarks to each piece, nice decoration, pull-out strainer in teapot missing strainer element, frame and handle only.
