The teaspoons and single spoon are cased, the cases are a little tired, the teaspoons are slightly misshapen.

A 19th century mother of pearl thimble case and a two hallmarked silver mounted ruby glass scent bottles, Birmingham 1894 and 1901, with a brass mounted ruby glass double ended scent bottle, five further scent bottles, four mother of pearl counters and a white metal tobacco box of curved form engraved 'Fred Bromley', Sheffield 1900 and an opaque glass scent bottle (qty).Additional InformationMinor wear to the edges of the mother of pearl case. The older scent bottle with scroll detail has some dents to the lid and is lacking the stopper, the other scent bottle is rubbed to the hallmarks and has general tarnishing. The gilt metal mounted scent bottle has many small nicks and general wear along all of the facets. Other items with general age wear throughout. The engraved naming to the white metal tobacco box is rubbed.

WILLIAM COMYNS; a Victorian silver crescent shaped dish, profusely embossed throughout with birds and scrolling foliage, length 22cm, weight approx 6ozt/194g, together with a hallmarked silver mounted brush (2).Additional InformationThe crescent shaped dish with general age wear and rubbing throughout and a few small holes in the embossed detailing here and there, and a small part of the silver is lacking to the base at the back right corner, the brush with age wear rubbing and tarnishing throughout with a few slight knocks.

LIVERPOOL SHIPWRECK AND HUMANE SOCIETY; two marine medals, the first in silver awarded to William Alexander Wright of Widnes with following research note 'For gallantly rescuing a boy who had fallen into the River Mersey at Westbank, Widnes, on January 23rd 1904. Wright ran considerable risk, and only succeeded in grasping the boy just has he was being carried through the piles of the new bridge. He also attempted the rescue of a second boy, but after diving three times he had to be assisted out of the water in a very exhausted state', the second in bronze awarded to James Finlinson 'For rescuing a man in peril of drowning in the East Float, Birkenhead, on 30th October 1925'; also to swimming proficiency medals, the first in silver awarded to Charles B. Elder pupil in the Liverpool Institute High School for proficiency with the object of saving life 7th July 1897', and the second in bronze awarded to Samuel Maskel of Lister Drive Modern School 17th December 1954.

CO. 2. V.V.M.R.' cap badge and Life Saving Society medal dated March 1905, mentioned in a dispatch issued by General Sir E. H. H. A Victorian white metal mounted presentation plateau/table centre with mirrored top, engraved 'Presented to the Mayoress of Macclesfield Mrs Fountain by the Magistrates, Alderman and Councillors of the Borough on the occasion of the birth of her daughter, Janet Fountain on the 5th day of April 1894', length 72cm, together with an Aesthetic silver plated six piece cruet and stand in the manner of Christopher Dresser (2).Additional InformationOne of the silver mounts to the plateau is detached and creased, other general wear to the plateau and with some lifting to the molded rim and two splits to the molded rim, some attention may be needed here, the Aesthetic stand lacking one of the corner ball finials and with general tarnishing and rubbing to plated detail throughout, some small nibbles and nicks to the glass.

GROGAN COMPANY OF PITTSBURGH CHELSEA; a rare American cut glass mantel clock with floral and scrolling detail, the silver dial with Arabic numerals, height 21cm, length 43cm, with later key.NB: The Grogan Jewellery Company were based in Pittsburgh and were one of the city's pre-eminent companies operating from The Grogan Building.Additional InformationThe movement is original to the clock and the whole is in excellent condition. The quality really is exceptional and currently running.  Circa 1910.
