J.R. a set of six silver rat-tail soup spoons, Sheffield 1914 and eight rat-tail silver dessert spoons, Sheffield 1914 in a mahogany veneered canteen, the silver cartouche awarding the contents for nine specimens of mangles and nine specimens of swedes presented by Messrs Sutton & Sons of Reading. Apporoximately 45 ounces.
A Chinese silver and enamel pill box circa 1900, of lobed berry form, the domed cover with enamelled repoussé floral and foliate decoration, headed by a large moth, the sides with turquoise enamelled banding and enamelled precious objects, the cover opening on a butterfly surmounted hinge, the interior divided into two compartments, stamped character marks to base, 6.7cm. long.
