A GEORGE V ART DECO POTTERY AND SILVER MOUNTED DESK TIMEPIECE the octagonal dial with arabic numerals and eight day movement, the pottery enamelled frame with chinoiserie decoration within a silver mount, the pottery and silver mounts marked GD & Sons Limited London and the silver with marks for London 1926, the timepiece with hinged support to the back, 10cm wide x 10cm high
A George V silver plated wedding cake stand and pair of associated tiers. The main stand chased with a continuing band of flowers and raised on paw feet. The two smaller tiers with fluted column supports and marked for Mappin & Webb, largest 42cm diameter. Lower tier has a timber topped which is cracked. The plating on the lower tier is also slightly worn.
A fine set of four George III silver table candlesticks by John Cafe in later fitted case. Weighted and modelled in Neo-Classical style. With reeded sconces having key fret collars and detachable nozzles, each stick ornamented with four ram masks, with waisted pedestal terminating on paw feet and raised on tapering square plinths further ornamented with ram masks and festoons. Assayed London 1774, 30cm. Hallmarks clear and all matching including nozzles. Moulding on all crisp. Three with beize attached to the bottoms, one uncovered. No repair detected, each base shows shadowing around the raised detail, see images.
