It is indistinctly marked with continental marks, unidentified, in our opinion it would test as silver.

Larger brooch estimated total diamond weight 0.55ct, 2.6cm by 2.9cm, 9.0 grams; smaller brooch estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct, 2.1cm by 2.2cm, 4.7 grams (2)CONDITION REPORTBoth with very light abrasion to the moonstones. The setting and irregular cut of the rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate measurements and weight estimation, stated weight is very approximate. Not hallmarked or stamped but in our opinion would test as silver on gold.
