Handle loose, possible replacement knop, solder repair to cover and another to repair a split by hinge. Dent to one side of body and numerous other small dents throughout. Generally worn. Height 10.5cm not including finial. Length from end of spout to the back of the handle 23.5cm (including handle).

Split at base of stem. Solder visible on centre frame. Some small chips to glass. One of the larger bottles has the glass stopper stuck in it. Please see images (available upon request).

A William IV silver seven bottle cruet, by Barnard Brothers, London 1833, of shaped rectangular form, on four shell capped bracket feet and shell capped scroll loop handle, with a silver mounted cut glass mustard, a pair of silver mounted casters and four additional glass bottles, one with silver cayenne pepper spoon, crested with motto and monogram, 24cm high CONDITION REPORT: General wear. Number of chips to glass; one stopper broken. Rubbing to detail on silver frame. Some small dents to base and one replacement nut beneath. The two pierced silver caster lids don't fit well; one glass bottle has a silver collar that means it is too tight and the second bottle is missing its collar. Small dent and split to spoon aperture on silver cover of mustard. Crest, motto and monogram, engraved to centre stem. Please see images (available upon request).

Both have been cleaned with something abrasive and so have matt scratched finish (one worse than the other). Cover on the hot water jug does not close tightly. Handle on coffee pot loose. Hot water jug has dents to body and dents to cover and knop knocked. Dent to cover of coffee pot, marks worn.

A pair of parcel gilt 'Epping Forest' goblets, by Hector Miller for Aurum, London 1978, of spot hammered flared cylindrical form, the stems with pierced foliage revealing a gilt stag, gilt interiors, 16.5cm high, 24oz These goblets were made to commemorate the 1978 centenary of the Corporation of London's care of Epping Forest. CONDITION REPORT: Sterling silver (as catalogued). Some spots of discolouration to gilding on one stag. Light general wear including one very small nick to one rim, but no obvious major faults.

Lot 66

Two George III silver old english pattern basting spoons, one by Richard Crossley, London 1792, the other by I.F, London 1802, and a silver old english pattern ladle, by Thomas Wallis, London 1787, 10oz (3) CONDITION REPORT: Well polished, bowls on both spoons a little thin, especially the shorter example. This spoon also looks to have had an erasure - top of handle thin. Likely the other spoon and ladle have also had erasing, bowl of ladle has scratches and small dents.

Ltd., London 1899, of baluster form on spreading circular foot, foliate chased with vacant cartouche and twin scroll handles, 16.5cm high, 22oz, excluding blue glass liner CONDITION REPORT: Light general wear, but no obvious major faults. Blue glass liner does not sit easily in cup.

A substantial Victorian cast silver candlestick, by William Brown, London 1837, in the rococo style, profusely decorated with flowers, shells and masks, 30cm high, 52oz CONDITION REPORT: General light wear, including small knocks to rims and prominent areas, some surface scratches. A Victorian coromandel dressing box, retailed by Parkins & Gotto, 248 & 250 Oxford St., the fitted interior with mother-of-pearl-handled implements, glass jars, five silver-mounted glass boxes, probably by Thomas Whitehouse, London 1868, with fitted jewellery drawer beneath, and mirror and stationery compartment to cover, monogrammed, 31cm wide CONDITION REPORT: Some scratches and scuffs to exterior of box. Key works but is not the original (is a 20th century one). Some small dents and general, mainly light wear to silver covers. Cover of one of the larger glass bottles has a repair and the other is squashed and split. Some minute chips to glass bottles.
