Meath. He was raised to the Marquessate of Headfort 29/12/1800, so the engraving must pre-date his knowledge of this event (it was a reward for voting the Irish Parliament out of existence!. He had succeeded to his father's title in 1795 (I think you said the mark was 1800). Provenance therefore Headfort (where the family still live) or the Dublin town house.
