Ancient Crucifixion of the Savior - Calvary with the coming ark type. Russia, late 17th - early 18th centuries Chamber and tragic universe of the Christian faith - crucifixion cross on thick cross boards of northern work, the last quarter of the 17th century. Paradise, pain and hope of personal appeal to God. Canonically represents the idea of suffering, atoning sacrifice, and resurrection from the cross. It is not for nothing that the signature at the crossbar reads: “We bow to your cross. We glorify the great true resurrection.
