A Splendid Silver Gilt & Champleve Monstrance set with diamonds, pearls and garnets surmounted by a Botonée cross. The rounded bevel-edged rock crystal host receptacle surrounded by enameled petals of decorative foliage and religious imagery and emitting leafy spurs. The knopped stem embellished with enamelled lozenges and rosettes flaring down to a quatrefoil base raised on dog-headed feet, 34½ ins (88 cms) in height.
