Brass quillon block, decorated with lion's head in relief on both sides. Axe's back with a lily-shaped cusp. Iron haft in two halves, screwed together. First segment is actually a 12 mm. cal firearm barrel with a percussion primer, whose nozzle is located on the back of the quillon block. Unscrewing the peak cusp of the axe, this turns out to be a ramrod. The lower half of the haft is home for a long, spring-charged firing pin whose handle consists of a pommel at the bottom, in brass and decorated with leaves and frames in relief. All the haft surface is silver inlaid (small parts missing) and engraved with flowers., length 62 cm.
