An Edwardian silver pedestal bowl, by Alfred Marston, Birmingham 1910, with shaped rim, 10cm diameter; together with a silver engine turned cigarette case, with gilt interior; a Scottish George IV silver sauce ladle, Edinburgh 1825; a cased silver egg cup, (lacking spoon), and a cased set of spoons, 285.9g weighable.
A silver heart shaped easel back photograph frame; together with another silver circular small photograph frame; two silver bladed mother of pearl folding fruit knives; three silver teaspoons; a silver fork; a silver and blue guilloche enamel case; and another mother of pearl folding knife.
A Baume & Mercier silver gilt and blue guilloche enamel conical pendant watch, case no 7254, 2.3cm Condition Report: Overall condition is good, with minor scratching to exterior and glass. The dial appears fairly clean with minor scratching and discolouration to centre. However the winder is missing. Not tested, will require attention.
A Victorian Royal Hussars dress sword and leather scabbard, by Wilkinson, inscribed 'FW Stanley' and numbered 36902. Condition Report: Overall condition is good, however the hilt/grip has lost 3-4 bands of silver thread but the fish skin is intact. The handguard is tarnished. The blade is tarnished in several places. The scabbard, whilst intact, is scuffed/nicked, with split stitching and the metal tip is tarnished. Measurements: Blade 88.5cm x 3cm (max).
The Duchess of Sutherland's Cripple Guild, an electroplated bowl and cover, the repoussé decorated body and cover with turned finial, together with an oval electroplate bowl with reeded edge, both with stamped marks The Guild originated in 1898 as The Potteries and Newcastle Cripples Guild. It was set up by Millicent, Duchess of Sutherland, a society beauty and social reformer. The Guild's aims were originally to provide medical treatment to children and to instruct children in a trade or craft. Originally artificial flowers, baskets and photograph frames were made, and boys learnt printing. By 1902 there were over a hundred boys and girls being taught within the Guild. Art metalwork began in 1902 under the guidance of Francis Arthur Edwards. Designs were copied or adapted from historical examples. The majority of work was made in copper which was silver plated and silver. In 1907 the name of the Guild was changed to The Duchess of Sutherland's Cripples Guild of Handicrafts as the venture was made into a limited company. The work produced was sold locally and at 13-14 New Bond Street in London. The metalwork employed 12 boys and a later a number of adults and closed in 1922. Metalwork is stamped with a crown above the letters 'D.S.C.G'.

Both unframed - condition is fine.
