A very important German Nazi hallmarked silver cigarette case, presented to a Luftwaffe air ace in 1937. Contains engraved signatures of all 11 recipients of identical cases. In 1937 a team of 11 Luftwaffe pilots from the Messerschmitte BF 109 Fighter Team took part in the 4th Internationl Flying Meeting in Zurich, Switzerland. The team won the contest and were subsequently honoured by the presentation of identical silver and gold cigarette cases containing each of their signatures. The presentation is understood to have been made by Adolf Hitler who was understandably proud of their achievement and the propaganda it offered. Several of the pilots went on to achieve high rank in the Nazi war machine. This is the only one of the 11 known to have come up for sale. 12.5cm x 7.8cm x 1cm. Prov. G.Light collection
A rectangular 18ct yellow gold Rolex Chronometer wristwatch, the silver dial signed Rolex chronometer, applied with Arabic numerals at the quarters and subsidiary seconds dial. The movement signed Rolex chronometer and repeated with ultra prima. Inside the gold case marked RWC and numbered 39059 2771 to the outside 3.5cm high. Excluding lugs.
A three row cultured pearl necklace, the silver/grey pearls measure 7.5 - 8.5m with a diamond clasp centred with an oval-shaped diamond within two rows of cushion-shaped diamonds and further scalloped border of graduated diamonds in a silver and gold closed back mount. 42cm.
A late Victorian diamond necklace, formed with graduated circular links, each centred with a cushion-shaped diamond within a surround of smaller cushion-shaped diamonds in cut-down gold and silver collets and each joined with two smaller diamonds. Suspending five detachable and graduated diamond-set pendants. Fitted case by Garrard, 112 Regent Street. The fitted red leather case with presentation inscription dated 1959. 44cm.
