Collection of various commonwealth omnibus issues including: 1935 Silver Jubilee commonwealth sets x 65, mostly lightly mounted mint, some MNH and 4 used sets and some odd used singles to make up the gaps, but also with some duplicates noted too, includes EGYPT as a lightly used example. 1937 coronation x 57 mainly mounted mint and MNH, with oddments of used to fill gaps. 1948 silver jubilee x 69 sets, mainly mounted mint and MNH, with 10 high values used to fill gaps. Note these are placed in alphabetical order, so it is easy to see the countries present from the photographs. 1948 Victory issue, mostly fine used x 42 countries/ sets. 1949 UPU x 76 sets, appears mostly MNH, with several fine used sets, and duplicate countries, plus FDC from Malta. Similar selection of 1953 coronation, somewhat fragmented. A large and valuable consignment of stamps.

Six piece cased silver double cruet set, weight of silver 226g excluding liners. Makers Walker & Hall, hallmarks for Birmingham 1923. Includes original salt and mustard spoons. Two chips to one of the blue glass liners, small dent in one pepper. Hallmarks all matching and clearly readable.
Set of four Rococo decorated silver candlesticks (two very near identical pairs), all by the same maker, Henry Wilkinson & Co. However one pair is dated Sheffield 1836, the other pair Sheffield 1846. Gross weight 2116 grams, together with each detachable sconce, hallmarks on sconces match those on the sticks. Sticks hallmarked to side of the bases. Light composite loading, height 23cm / 9 inches.Good overall condition, though one has a small area which is worn through, and there is a dent to the top of one stick, when the sconce is removed. (4)

Very large & heavy Art Nouveau decorated solid silver butlers tray, weighing 155 tr oz appx, by Elkington, hallmarks for Birmingham 1903. Measuring 82cm x 51cm. A rather splendid item.In nice condition, having a small, shallow engraved dedication to the central cartouche.
