Large circular top pommel with mobile swastika to the centre of each side. Winged cross guard with mobile swastikas to the centre. Blue leather covered grip retaining the original wire. Blue leather covered scabbard with nickel silver top mount and lower mount. Original blue leather hanging strap attached to the reverse. Near mint condition double edged blade with SMF Solingen makers trade mark to the centre. A superb example of this pattern dress sword.

Civil C.B.E Grouping Awarded to Walter Henry Meyrick, Secretary Bihar Planters Association Ltd and Managers Estate, Late Bihar Light Horse, Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (C.B.E) Commanders neck badge in silver gilt and enamels with full ribbon, 1935 Jubilee Medal, 1937 Coronation medal, George V Volunteer Force Long Service medal “Corpl W H Meyrick Bihar Lt Horse” and George V Territorial Efficiency medal with India bar and additional service bar to ribbon “SJT W H MEYRICK BIHAR L H A.F.I”. Medals mounted for wear and remain in good condition. Born 7th November 1880 and educated in Tonbridge, Kent. Originally awarded the OBE and then in 1942 the CBE. Served with the Bihar Light Horse and was later the Secretary of Bihar Planters Association. Retired 1946 to Southern Rhodesia. Bihar Light Horse was a very small unit and as a result medals awarded to men of the unit are scarce.

Winged cross guard with swastika to the centre of each side. Blue leather covered grip with the original wire attached. Silver bullion wire dress portepee. Blue leather covered scabbard with nickel silver top, central and bottom mounts. Original set of hanging chains with top clip fitting. Blade remains in excellent condition with much of the original cross grain finish. Ernst Pack & Sohn Solingen large makers trade mark to the base of the blade. Some light scuffing to the leather covering on the grip but otherwise a very fine example of this type dress dagger.

Rare 2nd Model Railway (Bahnschutz) Officers Dress Dagger with Original Deluxe Hanging Straps, very nice example of this pattern of dress dagger worn by Railway officials during the Third Reich. Aluminium fittings retaining much of the original silver overlay finish. Black twist handle with ball top pommel having stylised swastika to the centre. Cross guard with the winged wheel insignia to the centre. Housed in the original scabbard with two ring mounts for the hanging straps. Blade remains in near mint condition with Paul Weyersberg & Co Solingen makers trade mark to the base. Much of the original cross graining remains to the blade. Black velvet backed cloth hanging straps with the more unusual square buckle fittings, aluminium top fitting and small clips marked to the reverse DRGM and M5/10. Straps match the condition of the dagger perfectly. This dagger set was brought home after WW2 as a souvenir by the vendors neighbour. It remained in a cupboard since then and was gifted by the veteran to the vendor shortly before he died.

Nickel silver top pommel and cross guard with short wing eagle and voided swastika. Housed in the original correct pattern scabbard with black leather covering and nickel silver mounts. Mint condition blade retaining nearly all the original polish and cross graining. Paul Weyersberg & Co, Solingen makers trade mark to the base of the blade. Very good example of this scarce dress dagger.

Hitler Youth and Waffen SS Document Grouping of Schutzen Georg Hopper 10/SS Panzer Grenadier Regiment 5, the grouping consists of Hitler Youth service citation dated 30 Marz (March) 1941, Infantry Assault badge in silver dated 10.2.1944 with SS Totenkopf division ink stamp and Wound badge citation in black dated 1.3.1944 for wound received on 28.2.1944. Accompanying the citations are a number of SS Feldpost letters sent to him. Comes with some printed research stating that Georg Hopper was reported missing in action on 1st August 1944 near Warsaw at the Narev Bridgehead. (7 items)

Early Imperial Russian Cartouche Pouch, large pouch of blue velvet cloth with decorative silver braid edging. Large pressed metal front piece with black painted eagles coming out from crowned monogram and a trophy of arms, anchors and large sea creatures. Interior lined in blue velvet cloth with leather flap which reveals containers for nine cartridges or shots. Blue velvet cloth back with brown leather patch. Some wear but still remains in good condition.

Housed in its original brown leather scabbard with nickel silver lower chape and elasticated strap to the top of the leg attachment. Scabbard would fit a 1st pattern commando knife.

Gurkha Kukri, housed in felt cloth covered scabbard with well worked silver relief decoration of birds, flowers, crossed Kukri’s, animals etc. Handle with brass mounts. Curved single sided blade with engraved decoration. One skinning knife to the back of the scabbard. Blade measures 26cm in length, 38cm total length. Vendor states that this Kukri was presented by Sgt Dane Narayani 10th Gurkha Rifles to Chief Petty Officer Brian Love Royal Navy HMS Albion in Borneo.

Reverse has a pin and catch fixing which is possibly a later addition. Hallmarks to the reverse and stamped STARKEY LONDON. Some chips to the enamel centre but otherwise good condition.

Some minor scuffing to the leather covering and minor marks to the exterior fittings but overall a good example.

Luftwaffe Officers Peaked Cap, fine quality example with bullion cap eagle and cockade. Officers chin cords supported by pebbled side buttons. Silver bullion wire piping to the crown and bordering the black mohair band. Interior retains the original sweatband and lining. Tailors celluloid diamond for Erel but with the addition of “Verkaufsabteilung der Luftwaffe Berlin W9 vosstr 7”. Cap remains in good condition and retains its shape.

Some wear to the gilded finish and oxidisation to the silver wire. Top clip marked to the reverse DRGM. Gilded straps are very rare and seldom found.
