Choice very fine, attractively toned and rare. Mintage of only 6783 pieces struck during the “100-days”, Napoléon having escaped from the island of Elba and set up his government in Paris.
WORLD COINS, Germany, German Mediæval, Cologne, Archbishop Pilgrim (1021-1036), in the name of Konrad II (1024-1039), Silver Pfennig, cross, rev domed church with five columns, 1.31g (Dan 381, variety with dome rather than pediment to church). Part weakly struck, bent, off centre and with some peck marks, otherwise very fine.
