The interior lacquer is generally in good condition as is the silk lining. The condition is generally good.
An Art Nouveau silver belt buckle, Birmingham 1902, maker JHG, possibly a Glasgow maker but not identified, 34 grams. Width 9 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Generally good condition with no significant issues. Where the bottom scroll of the wires meet the main body of the buckle the solder is a little rough. This may have been resoldered at some point but we are not sure. The same comments apply to the top wires one of which is a little misshapen.
